La Piu' Bella Verona

Characterful property in a lovely Veronese house. Fabulous views towards the cathedral and along the river to the Roman bridge. Easy walk across bridge to city with good range of restaurants, bars etc. Large room with lots of storage space. Very comfortable bed

There was a bar directly below our 1st floor apartment. However, during our Sunday to Wednesday stay it did not affect us at all. Did not get to meet owner at all and miss the personal touch. The balcony is quite small although we just about managed our wine and game of cards each evening with the amazing views.

We were only in Verona for one night and half a day on our way to Slovenia, and honestly, I wish we had stayed longer such a charming city! The accommodation is in a quiet but very central part of the city, which was perfect for exploring. The loft itself is spacious, with a massive walk-in wardrobe, which is always a treat when travelling — it meant we could tuck our suitcases away and actually enjoy the space. Check-in was easy and seamless, and the host was super responsive throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Verona has challenging parking, there is a parking lot about a 7 min walk away but there happened to be two events on in the city when we were there. Just something to keep in mind, wasn't an issue!

Air conditioning Quiet location Lovely views Spacious and light airy apartment

Stairs! Nothing else to dislike

the location is great, the balcony is great the lightness of the room with the windows and doors. the bathroom is spacious

the noise of the very busy road outside from 5am, the apartment is tired/aged and smelt dreadfully of stale tobacco. The kitchen sink blocked overnight so we could not use any of the kitchen facilities really. The aircon failed to work sufficiently - it was very hot - however it meant the room was quite unbearable to sleep in.
