Clean, warm and comfortable. Very good breakfast. Mainly German-speaking staff but helpful and hospitable even when your own German isn't good enough. The staff made an extra effort for a special request I made before arriving, which was very good of them. Diedenskopf ski station is very close, and quite good at the top. The Warth lifts (Salober, JägarAlp, SteffisAlp are about 20-25 min by car). Note that the drive up can be difficult in freezing conditions with fresh snow and ice. There are buses as another option when conditions are bad. The breakfast is good and plentiful: juice, selection of healthy cereals, yoghurts, some fruit and salad, different types if bread, coffee. There is also ham and cheese, and usually an egg is offered. The restaurant also serves meals in the day and evening. The food is good and fresh and there is a lot of emphasis on using local and regional produce as much as possible.

I knew to expect it, but some of the accommodation is a short walk from the main building, where the breakfast is served. It is not a big problem, just a walk of a few dozen metres. Also, the breakfast begins at 0800, which might be a bit late if you want to be on the first lifts, especially if going to Warth or further.

Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich empfehle es gerne weiter.

Die Zufahrt zum Hotel ist etwas versteckt, aber ausgeschildert. Im Hotel wurde ich sehr freundlich empfangen und darauf hingewiesen, dass ich mein Motorrad in der Tiefgarage kostenlos unterstellen könnte. Ich erhielt überraschenderweise ein upgrade vom Einzelzimmer im Nebengebäude auf ein Appartment im Haupthaus (aus organisatorischen Gründen). Ich wurde bereits kurz nach der Zimmerbuchung darauf hingewiesen, dass ich, falls ich am Abend im Gasthaus essen möchte, eine Tischreservierung vornehmen möge. Das habe ich auch getan und es war gut so. Am Abend war der Gastraum komplett ausgebucht. Das Abendessen, als auch das Frühstücksbufet ließen keinen Wunsch offen. Mir hat der freundliche, ungezwungene Empfang und auch der spätere Service sehr gut gefallen. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sauber und die Möblierung neuwertig.

Vor der Buchung habe ich hinsichtlich der Übernachtungskosten etwas geschluckt, wurde aber durch das Ambiente entsprechend belohnt.

Alles, het is echt geweldig daar! Het personeel is heel vriendelijk, het ontbijt is super, de familie is super aardig! De omgeving is geweldig! Wij komen volgend jaar weer terug!

Familienfreundlich und authentisch

Authentische Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal in schöner Lage. Vom Durchgang zur Tiefgarage kann man durch Glasfenster in den Stall schauen. Besonders Familienfreundlich- beim Frühstück gab es Spielzeug für die Kinder, um uns Erwachsenen einen ruhigen Start in den Tag zu ermöglichen.

Leider roch das Zimmer etwas unangenehm. Ich vermute es kommt vom Teppichboden.

Alles super und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren in einer Ferienwohnung ca. 70m vom Schrannenhof entfernt untergebracht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und hatte für 4 Personen und Hund genau die richtige Größe. Die Lage ist top, denn die Talstation, das Dorf oder die Wanderwege sind alle schnell und fußläufig erreichbar. Können den Schrannenhof und das Personal einfach nur weiterempfehlen.!!

In der Ferienwohnung hätte nur etwas mehr Porzellan sein können, da wir auch die vorhandene Spülmaschine genutzt haben. Wenn man sich selbst versorgt,hat man manches auch bei der Küchenausstattung vermisst. das Essen im Schrannenhof ist aber super gut und lecker und dann geht man halt häufiger essen!😊
