BmyGuest - Mouraria Central Apartment I

This is a charming apartment in a perfect location. Check-in was completely hassle-free, and the host was very welcoming, even recommending a lovely place for dinner on our first evening. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable, which is quite rare in this part of Lisbon. It has all the essentials you need, including good WiFi, cooking facilities, and a fridge. The location is definitely the highlight. It’s tucked away on a quiet street, yet surrounded by hidden gems for food, drinks, and exploring. I’d highly recommend visiting nearby LG de São Cristóvão, just a minute’s walk away. It has a really authentic local atmosphere, with people gathering there in the evenings, great restaurants and bars, and never overly crowded. Some standout nearby restaurants were O Velho Eurico, Tasca Baldracca, and Zé dos Cornos - all within walking distance of the apartment.

The apartment does not have air conditioning, though this is fairly common in the beautiful Alfama area due to local preservation laws. It’s worth being prepared for the humidity, especially during warmer months. That said, the apartment is sheltered by surrounding buildings, so the heat never felt unbearable during our stay. There is also a fan and a dehumidifier provided, which helped a lot. We stayed there during temperature of 30 degrees and it was not an issue for sleeping. Towels were included, although only one towel per person was provided. A second fresh towel for longer stays would have been a nice addition.
