The apartment is on the 5th floor in a somewhat crumbling 1980s soviet style concrete slab building in the city centre, facing a quiet courtyard, the elevator is fine - nice local vibes. 10 minutes walk from the Green Market bus station where the marshrutkas from Chisinau terminate. A large Sheriff supermarket with currency exchange is just around the corner. Tiraspol is really small, so it is easy to walk everywhere. The host communicated proactively on WhatsApp and her husband checked us in on pre-arranged short notice. Everything clean and working fine. There is a semi-open balcony if you really have to smoke. Even comes with a washing machine!

The living room (i.e. second bedroom) has only a large sofa bed, two armchairs and a TV on a sideboard - that's all the furniture there is. Bit sparse, but there is a slightly more cozy table with chairs in the kitchen. No coffee or tea provided.

The host was very nice and helpful and spoke perfect english. We had everything we needed

Nocleg był w świetnej lokalizacji, w starszym budynku, pośród klimatycznego osiedla. Samo mieszkanie ładne, czyste, ze wszystkim co może być potrzebne.

This was just what I was looking for, the apartment still has original Soviet decor from what I could ascertain. Communication was quick and easy and I was met at the apartment. Had all the facilities and kitcken utensils that one needed. Tiraspol is definitely worth a visit, I spent 2 nights there and would like to return sometime.
