    On booking I tried emailing hotel three times for confirmation, NO reply, on arrival given wrong room, asked who reads and answers hotel emails, barman in the Craic Bar said he did not know, but gave me the room key.! NO clean towels for use, towels supplied were the cheapest from The Warehouse. The showers and communal toilets were clean, but showers did not work properly, very difficult to pick between very hot water and very cold water. The shared lounge has very worn furnature that should go to the tip, the tv had two volume settings only, very loud or off. The kitchen for guest use was disgustingly filthy, great piles of mismatched very old dishes, the drinking mugs were so horrible I went to a nearby shop and purchased clean cups and dishes. These I used in our room, there was no way I was going to eat there. The main problem there is the people running the hotel live on site and do all their cooking in the guest kitchenette and leave all the dirty dishes and pots used piled in the sink. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN NOR RECOMMEND ANY BODY ELSE STAY THERE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.! The staff running THE CRAIC BAR were excellent, so I can only assume that it is a different business, 10 stars !
