Horizon Hotel & Yoga Center

Hotel Horizon exceeded our expectations! Perfect location surrounded by some of the best restaurants and shops in Santa Teresa and Playa Carmen, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 10min by car to Playa Hermosa, super nice architecture of the villas, spotless clean (cleaned every day), amazing views, super friendly staff, good yoga and perfect service. We would recommend this place to anyone willing to explore the area! Very comfy beds, good pillows, good aircon, well equipped kitchen, nice pool!

Many write about the steep street - it's not a big deal! Yes, it feels a little like going a couple of stairs up but it's manageable. There are parking spaces for cars, and 4x4 make their way up without any problem. The only little issue we had are the mosquitos: even when closing windows and having the aircon on, they still came in somehow.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks going around Costa Rica. The reception staff in particular were amazing, so kind, informative and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are huge, spotless and the pool is great - we saw so much wildlife. They even had a courtesy shower for us to use after we checked out and spent the day at the national park.

I loved absolutely everything. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept, the views are great, the staff is kind and attentive, the yoga lessons were excellent , the caffe is really nice with good food and fantastic view…

There is a very short walk up to the hotel ( that is how you get the great ocean view).

They thought of everything. Great yoga classes incredible view. Healthy cafe great food menu. Would highly recommend
