We were in Holland for a skating weekend, stayed in Elzenhagen for the first time, but will again.
We stayed in a "split level" room, downstairs was a small "living" room, with TV, big comfortable sofa, desk, fridge, toilet and shower, upstairs was teh bedroom with two single beds, together to make one large double bed. Typical "Dutch" weather, but a lot of the area immediately outside of our room was covered, ample car parking spaces, and only 20 minutes from the Ferry at Hoek Van Holland. The staff were really helpful, breakfast buffet had a good selection, and was plentiful.
Nothing that was within the control of the Hotel. It rains a lot in Holland, which, as a regular traveller you get to expect.

Very clean bathroom with all the required items. Fresh bread available every morning with a good selection of fruit yogurt and warm food.

excellent hotel ,great location had a perfect week stay visiting family

hard to pick fault but this is totally a personal preference found bacon under cooked for our liking at breakfast as used to crispy bacon with pancakes

Mixed in terms of quality, staff, food...
Beds comfortable, room overall great, location reasonable, breakfast reasonable. We would stay again but perhaps in a different room.
Bluetooth room key, Bathroom shower broke - could not switch it off and it flooded - staff came to help but only with towels and eventually managed to turn it off - the two lads that helped were great - we never got to see the manager. The breakfasts were passable. The Restaurant was okay but supposed to be able to offer gluten free, we found two items from the menu.

No tv in bedroom. You can’t wash face or hands in a sink as too small water splashing everywhere No free drinking water available. Just room bar

once and never again
The location was good and quiet. It was only a few kilometers to the beach, The Hague, and other beautiful cities.
Unfortunately, our room had an unpleasant smell right from the start. (There is already a review about this from another guest about 12 months ago.) On the very first day, the toilet didn't flush. After we reported this to the staff at breakfast, we were assured that they would look into it. After breakfast, we were told that the flush was working. After we returned to our room, the flush still didn't work. We approached the staff again and reported it. We received an annoyed eye roll and a huff in response. (There is already a review about this exact reaction.) After the staff then looked into it (presumably for the first time), they discovered that the flush wasn't working and that we weren't too stupid to flush it after all. No compensation or apology followed. The restaurant in the hotel is outrageously expensive.
