Drakano Rooms Ikaria Faros

L’accueil des propriétaires, des personnes exceptionnelles et aux petits soins, les œufs frais tous les matins des poules élevées sur place, leur miel et un jardin fleuri d’une incroyable beauté. J’ai du rendre la chambre tard et cela n’a pas posé de problème.

Fantastic stay on the north-eastern tip of the beautiful island of Ikaria. Very close to the airport and a 17 minute drive to the hot spring town of Therma or the capital of the island. Walking distance to the beaches of Agios Georgios. Cats galore. Topped off by a lovely host who provides fresh eggs, honey and other breakfast goodies.

Wifi was a bit sporadic but they're undergoing a network change this week so it's understandable!

●Absolutely breathtaking view and magnificent mountain side surrounding... you're on a tiny peninsula so there's sea and a beach in any direction. ●it was spotlessly clean ● nice shower ● kitchenette small but well stocked. ● so close to the airport you can see the runway from the balcony

I acknowledge not all these are complaints but I think people should know about . G ●IS A HUGE COMPLAINT THE WI-FI IS TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! There is great WiFi in all the tavernas so why not here and while it's TERRIBLE in the day at night I think they actually switch it off . ● it would be nice to be well informed that the tap water is not drinkable. ● it IS up a mountain with undrinkable tap water YOU NEED A CAR I did not have a car and had to lug cases of water up the mountain... no OFFER of a lift , instead I was told I NEEDED EXERCISE ● the SO CALLED BREAKFAST I was there 4 days . In the fridge were 4 eggs some rusks and an assortment of tiny jams and margarine... none of which was replenished over the 4 days The hostess greeted me on arrival , I never saw sight of her again for 4 days ... compared to the HOSPITALITY of everybody else in Greece and especially IKARIA it was baffling .
