Fabulous

This is a really well equipped studio. The kitchen was well stocked which was good and there was nowhere open to eat at night during our stay. The tv is huge and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location and had all the facilities you would need!

The bed was uncomfortable, perfect for a couple of nights but I stayed for 4 nights and it started to hurt my back and shoulders due to the mattresses being quite thin.

Studio

It was in a nice quiet location in the black isle with beautiful scenery all around. Some local shops nearby and a lovely from shop with alpacas also nearby. There was microwave, kettle, cooker, TV, hoover, hair dryer etc in the single room. The owners do request that you recycle a lot of packaging and use the supplied eco friendly chemicals to keep the studio clean.

The studio is small but there was a damp smell that persisted throughout our time there. The toilet seat was broken and the shower was not powerful enough and very slippy inside the cubicle. The setter/bed had some broken slats and was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The WiFi was a little sketchy at times but there was 3 people on it most of the time plus the TV. The studio would also benefit from a fresh coat of paint

Lovely host

We both had great difficulty with the bed as it was wooden sofa bed that pulls out from the drawers we both have issues with our backs and l also hip problems so we just couldn't get any comfort with the bed and bedding wasn't great 😢such a shame as the studio was very nice but the bed really let it down "sorry ''

Great place to stay. Well equipped and clean and good value for money. Owners are really helpful and have stocked the apartment with local information and made recycling easy. Muir of Ord is a great location for sightseeing and walking. Try out the Bad girl bakery and cafe which is excellent.

Brilliant place in the Scottish Highlands for couples

Great value for money, comfortable and cozy place, with good access to the East side of the Scottish Highlands. Helpful hosts as well! Highly recommend staying here.

Room was a good size for couples, but might be small for anyone with kids. This is known upfront, so should not really be an issue.

A perfect base to explore Glen Affric and other gems in this marvellous corner of the Highlands

A cosy, comfortable and remarkably well-equipped studio. The hosts are wonderful and have thought about everything to make their guests feel at home, including great books, maps and brochures about all the local gems you can think of in this magnificent corner of the Highlands. All with sustainability in mind. Full marks.

Bed was a little uncomfortable but could have been my age. Not of an age where I use on demand TV so missed the use of conventional TV for news etc.

Appreciated warm welcome from Alex. Unit is very well-equipped.

Good facilities in Muir of Ord, i.e. Co-op supermarket plus one other convenience store, café, charity shop and excellent fish & chip shop. Pub close by. Excellent base for touring wider area. We especially enjoyed Glen Affric, but Inverness and the Black Isle (chance for whale watching) are within easy reach.

Lage Top - Ambiente etwas Old School

Die Lage zu den Dedtillerien ist top, Bahnhof sehr nahe gelegen und gut sortierter Co-op. Das Appartement liegt ruhig in einem Wohngebiet und ist gut ausgestattet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis durchaus noch angemessen für die Lage.

Die irreführenden Bewertungen. Auch wenn von allem etwas da war, waren die Dinge doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, 10er Bewertungen sind eher verwirrend. Auch die Sauberkeit ist eher oberflächlich. Ein durchgebrochener Boden und ein lauter veralteter Kühlschrank sind ebenso wie verrostete und schmutzige Gartenmöbel nicht jedermanns Sache. Es darf hier durchaus einmal Kritik geübt werden, damit man nicht das Gefühl hat, man habe ein Schnäppchen vor Ort ergattert. Preis daher okay für ein abgewohntes Appartement in guter Lage in den Highlands, wenn man kurzfristig etwas braucht.
