Terrace 88 in Lisbon

Great location to explore Lisbon (in general 30 minutes walk to for example Soa Jorge). The terrace is a great plus, even if the view if not wow, you can enjoy when the weather is good. Your very own Miradouro :-)

Black mold above the desk in the bedroom, very little water pressure and a sun canopy on the terrace that could have been better.

Przestronne, czyste, wygodne i ładnie urządzone mieszkanie. Dobra lokalizacja blisko metra i sklepów. Wygodne łóżko i duża sypialnia. Świetny taras ze wspaniałym widokiem. Spora, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Godne polecenia.

Pobyt byłby wyjątkowy, gdyby w apartamencie dokonano kilku napraw i usprawnień, np. parasol lub działająca markiza na tarasie, bo po południu praktycznie nie da się tam przebywać przez słońce, ściana z oknem w sypialni wymaga odświeżenia, kanapa w pokoju jest uszkodzona.

Ten out of ten for the apartment; One out of ten for the block it is in, which gives an average of 5. Apartment is clean, modern, spacious and well equipped. The terrace is a good bonus. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night, no noisy bars or anything to keep you awake. Only (tiny) comment is that the shower temperature ranged from Very Hot to Boiling - we were able to shower but would have liked cooler water!

The block the apartment is in felt unsafe (although I acknowledge that the other apartments and stair well is outside of the apartment owner's control). The apartment is on the 7th (top) floor. On the day we arrived, a Friday, there was no electricity in the central stairwell (there was full electricity - and no electric issues - in our apartment). Apparently it had been like that since the previous Monday but at no point were we informed about this before we arrived. If we had known, we would have booked elsewhere as it was a big issue for us. No electricity meant that the lifts and stair lights didn't work and we had to climb 115 steps to go in or out of the apartment. This was not good for me as I suffer from asthma. Bizarrely, each flight of stairs was covered in things like wardrobes, boxes, shoes, books, DVDs, tools, prams... It was if someone was moving in or out and most of their belongings were waiting to be moved, but all the stuff was untouched all week. So from Friday until the electricity was fixed three days later, to go in or out of the block we had to tip toe past all that junk, down narrow stairs with no electricity or natural light (it was 100% complete darkness) using our mobile phones for light. This would not have been safe in an emergency - there wasn't even any emergency lighting. This is a shame because the apartment was so good. If you can get an assurance that the stair well and lift electricity is working OK then you'll have no issues.
