The owner Vanessa as well as staff, Erun and Ray were amazing ; could not have been more helpful. went above and beyond being hospitable. Kitchen , dining facilities wonderful. Cleanliness impeccable. Views stunning . Renovation of building authentic and created wonderful ambiance. Extremely well equipped kitchen.

Fantastic

View is one of a kind, the kitchen is over complete and the action is in one word fantastic. We contacted the hotel the night before, because we where late coming from Valencia, the service was impeccable and made our stay even more special.

I love that calm and constant host’s care that you can feel and see (but never annoying!) I would highly recommend this place to stay , and do not forget to do some hiking around

There are a lot of things to like... Great atmosphere of the main house to have a dinner inside or breakfast on a terrace. Beautiful backyard and an area to chill near the pool with epic views. A table tennis!

I was not very happy with pillows in our apartments: they were a too thick for my liking and not really soft. I also got a TON if bites from the mosquitos which I did not notice until it was too late. It's not a fault of the owner though. I'm just pointing it for the other travelers to be aware. There was even an anti-mosquitos spray in our apartments so you don't have to bring your own.

Everything at Torre De Arriba Guesthouse was perfect, except for the hill drive to get there and back. A bit challenging, but the comfort and views at the top made it worthwhile

Search no further….you found the right place.

The location is stunning. Ideal place to rest, hike and make your own breakfast (if you feel like it, otherwise you can order breakfast) or dinner in the communal spacious kitchen. There are different rooms each with their own qualities. In summer La Isla is ideal because you have your own terrace. But in winter La Roca is very cosy. Personel and host are very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty parking facility and the bathrooms feel welcoming. You have your own fridge and a washing machine is present too. We keep coming back since it’s the best quality-price ratio in that area.

I cannot recommend this place enough. It is quiet and rural, situated in the mountains and has a perfect view of the coast. The sunrise here is magical. Perfect for a peaceful get-away. Also, very well-placed swings and chairs around the compound make it ideal for whiling away an afternoon reading and relaxing. I loved it so much I extended my stay here. I was in the area to cycle and the compound was close to all the good Costa Blanca climbs near the coast + further inland like Alcoi and Sierra Mariola (though you will need probably need a car). Much, much better than staying in Calp/ Denia for a road cycling trip.

a quite and most beautiful place

I really liked the beauty of the place. the house is stunning. The interior is tasteful. You can really enjoy the silence. You barely can hear cars or other noises. The house is located at the end of a small road in the mountains. That's why it so quiet.

There were no complaints. I only think my husband missed airconditioning. For my it wasn't a real problem, as the rooms have ventilators and the sun disappears behind the mountains quite early in the evening...

A beautiful and serene solo travel retreat. Really nice walking nearby.

The location is absolutely beautiful and so quiet, the room was also very quaint and pretty.

The prepaid breakfast wasn’t worth the money, left out well ahead of time with nothing fresh. I expected freshly made food for €10 per day. I’m future I wouldn’t take this option and just make my own. A small honestly bar or opportunity to buy a cold drink would have made the stay much nicer, as I ended up driving just to get some cold drinks.

It was stunning, the views and facilities were beyond expected. Loved the concept. As a couple we realised although we loved it, felt we wanted a bit more going on. Very restricted due to drive up the mountain, couldn't go out for a meal and drink as you had to drive. However it did slow us down and made us chill. This would be an amazing place for groups of family or friends, or guests who just want to get away from everything.

Fridge in our room. No Air con in rooms, although we did manage.

Location location location

Location was so tranquil and peaceful, and if your looking for somewhere off the beaten track this is the place to go. Restaurants and shops are only about 15mins drive away Room was lovely, and the facilities were very good. The lady that works there very friendly and accommodating and if you needed anything she was very helpful. To give a perfect 10, a small mini fridge in room would have been ideal to keep drinks and milk in as there was facilities to make hot drinks. Would DEFINITELY recommend this place to friends and family and to anyone reading this review. We will definitely come back

May as well stay in a remote isolated pretty location. The Restaurants in Guadalest all close by about 4pm. Good fun checking in. Don't bother pre checking in.

A lovely restful, peaceful stay

I loved my stay here in the mountains. The peace was lovely and it was great being serenaded by the birds. And the cats were great company when I sat outside! A lovely location. The track to it felt a bit of a challenge the first time I did it but I soon got used to it. I felt at home there, with a lovely room and the use of the facilities in the main house. It is close to Guadalest so I was able to go there before the main crowds arrive.

Great stay

Torre de Arriba is a very special place, the setting is spectacular and the facilities are excellent. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This time we stayed in the green self catering house and it was a great place for a family like ours. The kids loved it. We brought food for the whole weekend so that we didn't need to leave at all and could enjoy the setting to the max. Highly recommended.

Absolutley everything. Rural enviroment, nature, walks, the house is spectacular, the views, fantastic spot up in the mountain range. Absolutely recommended for couples, solo traveller or family if you are looking for a peaceful retirement. You'll find all the facilities just bring food and drinks.

I can't think about anything, it's been a surprising jewel.
