Nous avons aimé le logement au dessus de l'eau et les activités possible autour et sur la rivière. Plages privées, canoés, accès à la rivière.

The place is located on the river, so that you actually feel like you are living in the water. This is an excellent and magical feeling for me. Near the hotel there is a piece of forest along the river with a very convenient private beach for entering the water. We were in a hotel for 3 days and spent two days on the beach. The owners of the place are very nice people, their son speaks good English, he gave us a very good guide about the place. The place is very clean. Comfortable beds.

Why did I still have to answer that the place did not meet my expectations? The owners of the place try very hard to maintain the authenticity of the place (an old power mill). In addition, following a severe storm, the place was damaged. But, that doesn't explain why inside the rooms (we rented a "large apartment") things are a bit neglected: in one shower you can't shower, in a second bath you can only shower while sitting down and it's not easy for people in the seventies to get in there. When we arrived the sink in the kitchen was clogged, the mechanism for draining the water from the sink in the bathroom was broken and the shower rod in the second shower was also broken. To the owners credit they fixed everything immediately after we turned up. But, I don't understand why such things are not checked before guests arrive? In short, the place requires renovation and interior renewal.

The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were poorly ventilated and very hot

Loved the location and the warm greeting we received when we arrived. Our hostess was excellent and very proud of her delightful property. It was good to be there by ourselves. We would love to go back in summer.

We had a lovely bedroom but our friends were not happy with their room as it was enclosed and had no windows. The skylight was not working which made it a bit claustrophobic.
