We stayed on the ground floor of a beautiful wooden mountain house. The apartment was very comfortable and stayed pleasantly cool even during hot weather, partly because the house is located higher up on the mountainside. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. There are magnificent views of the high mountains in every direction, and a real Alpine meadow with cows is right outside the windows. The forest is nearby, and the whole area is extremely quiet and peaceful. In front of the house, there is a private green lawn with a bench, a table and chairs, as well as a barbecue area equipped with everything you might need. The apartment is spacious, very clean, well designed and exceptionally well equipped. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need during your stay. There are two restaurants nearby: one at the hotel and another one within walking distance. The town is about 2 km away, so you can either walk there or drive. The nearest supermarket is only around three minutes away by car. A mountain hiking trail to Lärchbodenalm starts close to the house. It leads to a beautiful traditional Alpine hut in the mountains. The hike is quite demanding and takes around 50 minutes uphill, but the destination is definitely worth the effort. The owner is very kind, friendly and helpful. He is always ready to assist with any questions and recommend interesting places to visit in the surrounding area. Another major advantage is the summer card, which gives you free access to all the cable cars in the region, as well as a huge number of other attractions and activities. Overall, this is a perfect base for exploring the Dachstein region. Everything is nearby and easy to reach, while the location is cooler than the valley during summer and offers truly spectacular views. We highly recommend this place and would definitely love to return.

Wir sind früher als erwartet angekommen - um die Mittagszeit, statt am Nachmittag. Aber es war kein Problem, wir wurden vom Hausherrn herzlich empfangen.
