The house is actually a converted duplex, so includes 2 fully functional kitchens, 2 separate living/dining areas, a lower level suite. The perfect amount of space for our group of 21 (5 families) incl Smart TVs and children’s play area with toys. We cook (a lot!) and the kitchens had more than enough dinnerware, cookware, serving dishes PLUS a large outdoor grill and blackstone (a nit would be that one of the ovens was a little finicky).The bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms (some smallish) had plenty of good quality linens.The deck ran the length of the house with multiple seating areas and FANTASTIC views of the sunset.The house is on a private beach; the steps to the beach weren’t as tough to navigate as others I’ve been to, although there’s a small dune with soft sand that can be a challenge. Tons of beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys.Practical points: cell service was spotty once you’re on the private drive, but internet in the house is fine.The house comes equipped with a couple of small packages of necessities (dish soap, etc)…enough to tide you over until you hit the market. Speaking of hitting the market, once you’ve booked check out Blue Fish’s guest portal with a lot of suggestions on things to do, where to go, etc. incl. a concierge svc to get groceries delivered and stocked prior to arrival. I cannot recommend this rental too highly!

23 family members of three generations stayed in the house. We loved having 2 kitchens and 3 refrigerators. There was plenty of room for all to sit and have meals. Being on the beach was fantastic--if only it was not so far down to the beach. Coming back up was a chore, but the water was clear and blue, the beach was clean and the sunsets were outstanding. We are thinking of returning.

Right on Lake Michigan with spectacular views from the decks. There are some stairs to get to the beach, however, the owners have left many beach chairs beach side and that was very helpful.. So were the many beach towels.. The kitchens were will equipped for a group (we had 22) and the rooms spacious. The house had lots of games and toys. The community has wonderful tennis and pickleball courts.

Perfect house for three generations. Only drawback was that is right next door to a beach club. We only had two days of good weather during our stay and had rented a Maui mat fir the kids to use. We were driven out of the water both times by people from beach club bringing water craft and paddle boards within feet of our kids. The property manager was quick to respond and the HOA President even stopped by to check. Not sure if it helped as within an hour of sun being out the next day the people were back out on the beach with paddle boards and running into us. Hopefully it will improve as it is such a wonderful house with plenty of room to spread out.
