Apartments Bassanese

We booked this apartment very last minute the day before as we got let down with our other accommodation, and we are so glad we did!! The apartment was spacious, very clean and even had a gorgeous balcony, although the view was just trees it was very peaceful. The apartment in only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of bled and no steep hills so easy to walk! We asked for an iron, to be fair it was not included in amenities but we asked and unfortunately they did not have one, but the host was kind enough to offer their one. This is an affordable apartment close to Bled and I recommend it highly!!

There isn’t much to fault! As a personal preference an extra pillow each would have been good, but nevertheless a great apartment!

The apartment was very comfortable, easy access and a nice location. Our host was very accommodating! A big plus was that the apartment stayed very cool even in the +30°C heat. Free parking spots were a huge plus since the town is absolutely packed in August.

We had to wait 40min in the hot entrance area after the check in time before the cleaners let us in.

The location of the apartment is very good - it's silent and quiet, not far from the lake (about 10min walk). There are two big supermarkets very close to the apartment. Furthermore, having the air-conditioning saved us during the summer heat. No problems to sleep well at night in a well-conditioned room.

Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't as nice as the rest of the apartment. It got moist very quickly, there was an interesting smell at times, and we did see 3 cockroaches. Possibly, the cockroach thing is something that happens in the summer. One suggestion to make - it would go a long way if the host kept some basic ingredients (salt, sugar, frying oil) because there was none. It's such a waste of food for every guest to buy these essentials, and then somebody just throws them away or takes them, and there is nothing left for the next guest.

- Kitchen poorly equiped, no oven, microwave and/or coffee machine - Apartment was not cleaned very well. A lot of dead bugs everywhere.
