    The Royal Thonga is in a prime location, right next to the Tembe Elephant Park !!!!!!!! ***It is teaming with amazing birds ** The management and staff are very caring and helpful. The facilities are wonderful !!!!!!!!! Absolutely loved it !!!!!!!!

    The friendliest most helpful staff ever. Place has gone a bit backward since we were there 2 years ago. Which is a shame it's one of our favorite places. Staff is amazing and doing the best with what they have to work with!

    Horrible experience. No power in area, no backup till 19h30 This meant no water in rooms. Eventually had to pay and additional R500 to get accommodation at another suitable lodge +-20 kms away, at 20h30. Granted the manager did guide me to the main rd, and refund about 80 % of my payment.. Very inconvenient experience.
