Peacock Guesthouse is a charming place to stay in Bhaktapur, especially if you want to experience the atmosphere of the old town. The location is excellent ,tucked inside the historic area and within easy walking distance of Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Hotel building has traditional character, with authentic Newari details that add to the experience. Rooms are simple but comfortable, and clean.
Service is warm and welcoming, giving a more personal, homely stay.
We always stay at this place when visiting Bhaktapur and surely return again.

Peacock Guest House, around the corner from the Peacock Window is a wonderful place from which to explore ancient Baltapur. A welcoming host, excellent food, attractive and immaculately clean rooms, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peter and Mary, England.

Historic, old building, close to action
Very dirty bedsheets, they obviously didn't change them for a long time, smell was terrifying and many yellow stains and hair. They didn't even apologize for that.
