Extremely dissatisfying

The property was beautiful. But there is allot of details that was missed that would have made the experience better.

For a self catering the rooms don’t cater accordingly. We had to go to the office to ask for a wine opener. Then had to go ask for the WiFi password. There is no space to sit, expect outside where everyone walks past. There was allot of bugs in the room and the bed and a cockroach in the shower. There is no plug where you suppose to do hair and make up, and no mirrors, and that also part of the kitchen. Where there is a plug there is only a chair no table. The breakfast was terrible.

A real gem, close to the heart of Stellenbosch

This was our second time at this beautiful farm outside Stellenbosch. In every way it is absolutely great value for the money. The vibe is great. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We Will Returnaissance!

The hospitality shown by Rennay and Adrian was amazing. It felt like we checked into our own private homestead. The gardens are lush and green and views bountiful. There's a chapel and reception hall on site which would be a stellar setting for a grand to do. Rooms are clean, linen and beds comfortable and ample space. Air conditioning was a godsend as it does get frigid in the evenings.

Breakfast is limited and did take a while on our 2nd day and some of the staff could do with some training on addressing guests and etiquette. Always room to improve but we will definitely be back!

Overall our stay was amazing.

We enjoyed the breakfast they provided. The room was beautiful and very clean. I had hoped that the restaurant was open but was not which was disappointing.

The wifi was giving us trouble and would not connect. Also we expected the restaurant to be open.

Great stay with attentive staff.

The property is fantastic, unfortunately I was a bit too early to benefit from the chance to pick some plums from the orchard.

The lack of curtains in the bedroom were unfortunate, there was privacy glass but to keep out light there was no real option.

One night stay,2 couples at Brenaissance.

On arrival Rene the host was friendly and we had a warm welcome.Brenaissance is a hidden gem in Devon Valley,Stellenbosch. The beautiful view,mountains and the tranquility of the place. Breakfast was lovely and kitchen staff were friendly.Rene was great! Will definitely recommend and return.

Great location for family!

Katherine provided a Kind and warm breakfast everyday. Solomon was super gentle on our late arrival. Hannah managed to Settle all the heating and warm water issues, Wi-Fi, etc. really supportive. The 2 beds rooms was confortable and provided us a very cozy stay.

Breakfast has 5 options. If we stay more days, it gets boring, so the menu could be chanced.

Lovely location but poor service !!

Location and breakfast

Internet is poor No attention to detail in rooms, inconsistent with availability of remotes, soap replacement daily was inconsistent as well as bath mats. Milk not topped up daily for use in the room. In lounge area where we asked for a fire to be made the water came pouring in through the windows and the ceiling when it started to rain. The electricity was tripping in the dining room as the electricity box is installed outside and hot wet with the rain. The outdoor lights along the pathway do not work and create a safety issue as you cannot see at night. One day by 5pm our rooms had still not been cleaned and I had to go and ask the manager if they were cleaning the room that day. Really overall very very poor service at what is a wedding venue and an expensive boutique hotel!

Interesting venue but not captivating.

We liked the location and the privacy of the property, the bed was comfortable, nice shower and Friendly hostess. The breakfast was average, should have better bread selection and more fresh fruit. The general room design is very modern and cold, the layout lacks a homey atmosphere. Grounds are ok but if you swim, the pool filter system doesn’t clear debris. With all the choices available in the area we probably wouldn’t return but I’m sure many would be satisfied because of its value and location.
