Tasteful, elegant accommodation with excellent service

Very comfortable suites, with an excellent outdoor pool. The suites are comprehensively equipped and include efficient aircon. Good breakfasts from a small selection served to the table. The estate clearly has a strong line in wedding receptions, and is beautifully presented for this purpose. Location is about a ten-minute Uber into Stellenbosch - plentiful supply of drivers to the site. Quiet and very tasteful.

I think I expected more of a feature to be made of the wine side for guests, but this is not a criticism - there's plenty of established wine-tours in easy travelling distance from this nicely located suites accommodation site.

Bedroom, shower, etc were good. Basin taps - poor water pressure. Chairs in room not very comfortable to watch tv. Breakfast very good, and so were the kitchen staff/waiters. Reception staff were also great. The scenery was magnificent. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Extremely dissatisfying

The property was beautiful. But there is allot of details that was missed that would have made the experience better.

For a self catering the rooms don’t cater accordingly. We had to go to the office to ask for a wine opener. Then had to go ask for the WiFi password. There is no space to sit, expect outside where everyone walks past. There was allot of bugs in the room and the bed and a cockroach in the shower. There is no plug where you suppose to do hair and make up, and no mirrors, and that also part of the kitchen. Where there is a plug there is only a chair no table. The breakfast was terrible.

Beautiful little gem. Would recommend

We loved everything about it. Friendly staff. Cute rooms. Breakfast was lovely. It was quite warm when we got there so we decided to take a break from being busy exploring and we just sat by the beautiful pool for the day and it was the perfect break for us. Would definitely stay there again and even longer.

We Will Returnaissance!

The hospitality shown by Rennay and Adrian was amazing. It felt like we checked into our own private homestead. The gardens are lush and green and views bountiful. There's a chapel and reception hall on site which would be a stellar setting for a grand to do. Rooms are clean, linen and beds comfortable and ample space. Air conditioning was a godsend as it does get frigid in the evenings.

Breakfast is limited and did take a while on our 2nd day and some of the staff could do with some training on addressing guests and etiquette. Always room to improve but we will definitely be back!

The property is fantastic, unfortunately I was a bit too early to benefit from the chance to pick some plums from the orchard.

On arrival Rene the host was friendly and we had a warm welcome.Brenaissance is a hidden gem in Devon Valley,Stellenbosch. The beautiful view,mountains and the tranquility of the place. Breakfast was lovely and kitchen staff were friendly.Rene was great! Will definitely recommend and return.

Great location for family!

Katherine provided a Kind and warm breakfast everyday. Solomon was super gentle on our late arrival. Hannah managed to Settle all the heating and warm water issues, Wi-Fi, etc. really supportive. The 2 beds rooms was confortable and provided us a very cozy stay.

Breakfast has 5 options. If we stay more days, it gets boring, so the menu could be chanced.
