Pintail Apartment Bamburgh

Judith was a great host prior to our stay. Very clear communication which was great. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed, and was very near to town. We thought it was the apartments in the picture so that was a bit confusing as it's actually a 5 minute walk from those, but very near. Judith was a thoughtful host and we loved it there. Lovely views too.

The only thing we struggled with was the hot water. We have baths at night and the hot water was set for mornings. We used the boost but this only enabled one bath to be filled a few inches so we had to use boiled water from kettle. Must be a small tank. Next person had to wait 45 mins or so to repeat same process. Appreciate most people shower in mornings and we are the exception, but worth factoring in if you are an evening bath person! Tried to call Judith to ask but no response. Given the excellent communication before we arrived, I can only assume she was away when we called.

The location ideal, being only a five minute walk into the centre of Bamburgh and the shops and pubs/restaurants.

Great quiet location just a few minutes walk to restaurants, castle and beach. Apartment was well equipped with excellent upfront info from owner.
