Comfortable Stay in a Great Location and Fab Host

Great location with parking, large apartment, nice and warm on arrival, Judith who manages the property was very helpful and welcoming. Bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival.

Hot water didn’t last long but there was a booster switch.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The location was excellent and was perfect for touring the area. The owner had left a couple of complementary treats for us to enjoy which was very thoughtful and kind. I would have no hesitation in staying there again and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Beautiful Bamburgh Brillaint Location Superb Apartment

Location, Spaciousness, well equipped, very clean, very piece full and quiet, dedicated parking.

The self closing doors make a bit of a bang in the middle of the night when you venture to the toilet only a minor issue other than that nothing really.

A lovely apartment

The location was perfect, the apartment was very spacious with everything you will need for a break away, including a couple of nice surprises. Coffee, tea,sweetners, salt, and pepper all supplied. Each room was beautifully presented. The double bed I found extremely comfortable. Cleanliness was spot on too.

The parking was ok but the road is quite narrow. The double bed mattress was too small for the bed, as we are used to a kingsize, found it a little small. That is personal choice, though.

Bright, spacious, modern appartment, pristinely clean, very well equipped & comfortable. Very cozy & a great place to stay for a few days. Judith was very communicative & helpful about carparking, keys etc.

Great place and fantastic area

Staying at the Pintale Apartment was an absolute highlight for me and my children. As a single dad, finding a place that suits everyone can be a challenge, but this apartment ticked every box. It was spacious, stylish, and felt instantly welcoming. The kids had their own space to relax, and I was able to unwind. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and Bamburgh Castle, which made exploring easy and spontaneous. We spent our days walking the coastline, grabbing ice cream in the village, and just soaking up the peaceful vibe. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed, from a proper kitchen to comfy beds and a cozy living area where we could all hang out together. We were able to visit many historic places that was literally a short drive away, including Holy Island. Many thanks to Judith for the complimentary wine and chocolates, which was a lovely surprise to open the door to. It was one of those rare trips where everyone was happy, and we made memories I know we’ll talk about for years. Highly recommend for families looking for a mix of adventure and downtime in a stunning setting.

Excellent beach and castle stay

The property was extremely high-quality – very clean and very well appointed. It was charming me presented and very comfortable. The location was perfect and ease of access/parking et cetera really good. The host was very responsive and everything was really well organised.

Lovely apartment, well equipped, loved the area with Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and the Farne Islands by to explore.

Spacious clean and comfortable. Quiet road. Didn’t realise Bamburgh didn’t have a supermarket. Arriving at 5 thought we could go and get self catering supplies including milk but no joy. This could have been mentioned in the blurb so we could have come prepared.

Shower grouting a bit black could be smartened up.

The location was the main attraction. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Instructions to get there were clear and helpful. Useful information about the area and how to work everything was excellent.

The location of the apartment was great for visiting Bamburgh and around Northumberland. This is the only reason it is rated as high as 3.

The cleanliness of the apartment was very disappointing and we found it very depressing to spend time in the apartment, which led to us leaving a day early. This has been raised with the owner who has assured us that this will be addressed so future guests will not be disappointed. The apartment is in need of updating. It's clear that the apartment has not been maintained well over time. For example the numbers on the kitchen hob control knobs have all worn off over time so a guide has been stuck on the front of one of the kitchen cabinets to tell you how to set the control knob positions. The kitchen equipment needs updating. For example there are only two large forks, the rest are child size and there are no covered microwavable containers for heating things up in the microwave.

Spacious accommodation for North East trip

Great location as a base for visiting Bamburgh,Sea Houses and Cragside. Off road parking very welcome feature as was the wine and chocolates upon arrival. We ate out each night but the kitchen is ideal for self catering if required. All in all an ideal booking with good communications from the owner

This apartment is in an excellant location, our host left us a nice bottle of wine & box of chocs as a welcome, we`ve stayed here twice & both occasions, thoroughly enjoyed our stay

only thing we found was that the sofa`s were a bit tired & found them a bit uncomfortable, & maybe the cleaning wasnt as good as it could be as there was cobwebs above the bath/shower.

great quiet location with lots of internal space. clean bedding and comfortable to sleep in beds.

Although good to have a dedicated parking space, this was at the rear of the property which is problematic when unloading & loading the car. The apartment is up a flight of stairs so if you have mobility issues this is probably not the apartment for you. Also some of the decor is dated with mismatched flooring, but nothing major, just needs a little bit of TLC.
