Chambre d'hôtes Le Moulin de Moulis

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet ancien moulin, qui propose des chambres propres et confortables. L'hôte était très sympathique et nous a servi un délicieux petit-déjeuner.

Lovely rambling old mill house with big wild garden, pretty antique furnishings in a large, spacious room with brass bed. Large shower room with excellent shower. Private and free parking. The owner was charming and attentive, as was his dog Ursula. Joining us for a simple breakfast of croissants and bread with local jamás etc. Our dog Freddy felt very much at home, except for the regal cat. We went to eat in his and his partners local restaurant, and had an excellent regional french meal, sitting with the dog on the terrace. A memorable overnight stop or base to explore the Medoc wine region.

The breakfast was a bit limited, ie We would have liked some fruit etc and ham/cheese but it’s a small thing in the context of a special place and owners.
