Although the host’s mother does not speak English, she was extremely kind and helpful, and immediately took care of a couple of our requests: a hairdryer and a bottle of wine, which was kindly offered to us free of charge. When we arrived, we also found some eggs and sausages in the fridge, also free of charge. The view from the apartment is simply fantastic. Peace and quiet are guaranteed — except when you have to share the terrace. To reach the house, we recommend entering the GPS coordinates into your navigation system rather than taking the route through the forest (do not take the first left turn, but the second one).

We were only able to communicate with the owner via chat. The beautiful terrace is shared with the other apartment. Although that apartment has its own private balcony, if it is occupied by a family, the terrace obviously has to be shared. For those who value privacy, this is certainly not the ideal solution. We were lucky, as we shared it with a family from Bologna who were very kind and, above all, very respectful.
