Good facility for a comfortable stay right near the city. Perfect lake view with a nice pool. Food is good and the staffs are also very nice.

I had high expectations from Hotel Naveen Lakeside, especially since it has been one of Hubli’s most reputed hotels for decades. Unfortunately, my first stay was not as expected. The focus seemed more on charging customers than on retaining them with good service. For example, I was quickly charged for an additional person, but no gesture was offered when amenities like the swimming pool were unavailable. Infrastructure feels dated compared to newer hotels in the city, but prices remain high. Customer experience needs more attention to match the premium rates. My interaction at reception was disappointing — instead of empathy or solutions, I was told “it’s management’s decision, can’t do much,” which set a negative tone for the stay. That said, the hotel still has potential given its history and location. With some modernization, fairer policies, and a stronger focus on guest experience, Hotel Naveen can regain its old charm.
