Lovely, comfortable, and convenient stay!

The location was absolutely gorgeous! It was close to Apt and also close to many vineyards! Our host, Gus, was very proactive, communicative, and kind. I could tell that he is very passionate about people. We had an option to book an in room breakfast one of the mornings and it was lovely and worth it!

We didn't have any troubles or grievances about our stay.

We loved the character. The pool and setting were incredible.

There was nothing we didn’t like. However, it would have been good to have dishwashing tablets.

Beauty and old world charm amid gardens in central Luberon

Stunningly beautiful location in a field of lavender, centrally located to Luberon villages, gorgeous well kept gardens. Lovely rooms decorated with French antiques, with a complimentary bottle of wine in your room. Waking up to amazing views of the countryside. The smell of jasmine throughout the property. Wine and cheese by the pool in the late afternoon. Great concierge (Josiane) who will suggest an itinerary and book restaurants for you. Recommend that you stop at an epicerie to buy your own breakfast items; there is fresh fruit in abundance in the area and a wonderful bakery in Apt.

No provision of clean dishes, pool towels or replenishment of water unless you are able to find a housekeeper to ask. A simple solution would be to store extra water bottles, cups, plates, utensils and towels in the (seemingly unused) common room off the main terrace. But everything else is perfect; just be are aware that the property is not staffed 24/7 and that your room won’t be serviced until your departure.

Beautifully guest house for peaceful stay outside of Apt

Beautiful guest house with a huge amount of character and charm. Staff very communicative and nice welcome touches. Our bedroom was tiny and reached by quite treacherous stairs, but we didn't mind as we spent most our time by the pool which was gorgeous, and ate in the communal areas. Everything was very clean and carefully kept.

Breakfast was nice and we had seen from previous reviews that you are paying for the peace and luxury of having it brought to you in a quite rural setting - but it would have been nice to have a proper pot of coffee. We also found that breakfast was not cleared away, so that by lunch time the communal space was full of dirty dishes.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location!

La Providence is a beautiful, peaceful place and we had a wonderful time staying here for a week. We stayed in La Siesta cottage which had ample room for us as a family of 5 as well as a large terrace, garden and plunge pool (which needs updating). The kitchen was well equipped and the property was clean with excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms, good shower pressure and good wifi. The location of La Providence is beautiful especially the views from the pool area where we spent many hours! We were met by Josiane in concierge who showed us around and was very helpful. The location near Apt was great to visit nearby towns and villages and there is a large supermarket in town which has everything you would require.

The only thing to improve would be the pillows which were quite flat and square shaped so not very comfortable to sleep on!

This place is amazing - the view is fantastic and you feel so relaxed in the middle of the beautiful landscape. The staff and owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. All the recommendations for restaurants and trips were great!

A really great place to stay in a particularly beautiful part of France.

Emerald suite was very spacious, large comfy bed and good quiet air conditioning. Lovely pool area with great views, really a nice relaxing place to be. Heated pool too.

The shower was good but difficult to get and maintain the right temperature.

Comfortable, convenient and most enjoyable!

Holidaying from Cape Town for 7 days, we chose to base ourselves in Apt and explore the region. La Providence, was an excellent choice ... close to the village and accessible to all the beautiful spots in the Vaucluse area. We stayed in a spacious unit called Anticatta which has been newly renovated. The views are spectacular and the bed ... fabulously comfortable. I would highly recommend La Providence to anyone travelling to this part of Provence. P. S. We were met by Josiane who was friendly and helpful ... thank you!

Although the unit is equipped with almost everything one would need including an oven, we did miss the convenience of a microwave. (Although this did not detract from our stay)

Beautiful maison de charme in Provencal style surrounded by lavander and Luberon landscape. The little pool is lovely with a great view. The offered rosè wine bottle with snack was a very kind welcoming: thank You

It's a holiday maison "village" so You have to know You will not get the services of a Hotel. Missing a reception point with a courtesy toilette (before check-in o after check-out) and missing the facilities of a bar.

We loved the property, very charming and provencal, amazing surrounding views.

Some of the Interior doors were new and ok, but some were very old and noisy, like the floor as well. Opening the door at night to go to the toilet seemed like an earthquake, unfortunately. Kitchen could be better equipped, no microwave.

the surrounding environment is superb, and the property feels very nice. we really love it. the kitchen is small but enough to cook simple dinner. hosts are also very nice, a bottle of local wine and snacks were offered.

Heaven on earth

La providence is the place you are looking for if you want something special. I was totally in love with the design of the room in combination with the authentic provence style. It‘s the most beautiful pool I have ever seen with a breathtaking view. I was looking for calm and I found heaven. Petra and Sébastien, the owners, are very friendly and helpful and the whole team too. I will come back for sure!

This property is an absolute gem - gorgeous sitting room (plus kitchenette) and bedroom/shower room. The location is perfect for exploring the Luberon and the “Mas” is lovely and cool inside.

Just a tiny quibble - it would have been nice to have some oil and vinegar plus salt and pepper available. And a tea towel.

Wunderschöne, ruhige Oase in der Provence

Apartment wie auf den Bildern, super schön und ruhig. Pool-Bereich ist auch sehr schön gestaltet. Wir würden wieder hierher kommen!

Die Beschreibung des Apartments war leider nicht richtig, da wir entgegen der Beschreibung keine private Terrasse/ privaten Balkon und auch keinen Backofen hatten. Gerade die Terrasse war ausschlagend gebend für unsere Entscheidung für La Providence.
