Aruba Sunset Beach Studios

We had the large ocean view which has a huge covered porch area and we were loving it. Personally I would even prefer one of the smaller garden view units over any high rise hotel room but that's of course everybody's choice. Unless you require constant 'party life', some super luxury establishment or freak out over a couple of small and colorful lizards who are just curious about their new temporary human neighbors Aruba Sunset Beach Studios is a great place to stay. Super-friendly staff, everything was clean and functional, the street between the Studio and the beach is not too noisy or busy and after sunset traffic gets down to almost nothing within an hour. And given that you'll most likely have rented a car as well, a sandy beach, Restaurants or my favorite Super Food grocery store is reachable within a 5 minute ride or less.

Aruba is in general a quite pricey place but that has more to do with the fact that almost everything there has to get imported. For Breakfast & Dinner for 2 adults I spent on average $150-160/day. Those were decent sit down restaurants but nothing fancy. Which is probably another argument for the Sunset Beach Studios over a high rise hotel room. At least in the large ocean view you've a complete kitchen and could easily stay a week or two without having to visit a restaurant once. And honestly, while we went in off season I can see that during high season finding parking spots and restaurant tables can be a real challenge. A word about the beach. At that stretch of beach across from the studio we're talking stones and a lot of corals, you should definitely use water shoes. Bring you own or I believe they've also a number of them at the reception. A 7-10 minute walk up the road is a small 'white sand' beach and another 5 minute walk a bigger, more busy 'white sand' beach.

It's very close to Norco sites close to the grocery store, walking distance to the beach and the sunsets are beautiful there

Beautiful place. Everyone friendly and pleasant. Very casual vibe and just perfect for a laid back vacation.

AC unit drained to the floor - but I did not report it since it wasn't too bad. No window in the bathroom.
