Quint Hotel

Very cheap 1 night stopover close to what we needed. Quiet laneway too and friendly staff who helped resolve issues What do you expect from $20 a night?

No top sheet just an old light blanket but staff gave us a sheet after using Google translate haha No loo paper as in many places in Asia and a bit grubby but it was only 1 night

Quiet, near downtown, good food right beside 😊

- breakfast was ok but you have to ask for it - wifi was working in the lobby but it was very slow - a/c was working - private bathroom - their convenient store has most of what you probably need and is not overpriced too much - location close to city center - taking into consideration what Manado looks like overall, this place is very decent

- windows could be neither properly closed nor open - door lock falling off - taking a bath would be a serious biohazard risk, it was not cleaned for centuries probably - no hot water anyway but that's what standard room means - not a single valve that wouldn't leak - only one person from staff at that time spoke (or was not affraid to speak) English - some usual fauna but nothing serious or dangerous - wifi was a shared 3g or dsl hotspot which means if you're not alone in the lobby anything takes years to load and forget about skype - it might sound terrible but it was not too bad actually comparing to other places :)
