Three nights in paradise

This is paradise, actually. A huge three room wooden house, with mosquito nets around the beds, a lot of light, huge rice fields in front of us, pretty much a private pool (there are two other houses, they were empty at the time). Simple but nice breakfast, and again, the incredible people of Indonesia. The cannot frown. Their only facial expression is a genuine smile. Unbelievable.

Fantastic restful stay.

Great polite staff. Private gated villas with a lovely garden & pond. Pool is great, fabulous views of rice fields & you can often see people working. Good mosquito net around bed. Outside open air shower & toilet, complete with wildlife. Easy walk to coffee shops, bakery and local warungs. Quick $7 Aus Grab car into Ubud. Breakfast is nice. Bottled water provided daily. Great very cold small fridge.

The path to the main road just outside the Villa entrance when it rains fills with water and you have to walk through it, it’s also slippery. Not a lot of storage space for clothes etc. outdoor bathroom can be slippery when it rains between the vanity and toilet. You have to ask staff for fresh towels etc.

Peace and quiet overlooking the rice paddies

It was a very quiet place facing the rice fields. Each room has its own little terrace, not overlooked. And the staff were really very attentive

Super stay in Ubud!!

This property was perfect for us! Very quirky villa which felt very traditional in both style and setting. It was very spacious with 3 bedrooms and living/kitchen area. The bathrooms are ‘al fresco’ which we loved and the villa overlooked rice fields which was lovely. Great shared pool and the food was tasty both at dinner and breakfast. Villas are located in a quiet area just south of the main area in Ubud and we were able to get taxis to and from easily. We were also able to arrange a tour through the villa which was great. The staff were also super friendly and helpful at all times. Overall we loved staying here and would definitely visit again!

Lovely villas with beautiful kind staff! The bed was so comfortable. Very authentic Bali villas with a nice homely feel. No job was a bother to them. The pool is amazing with a beautiful view. Free breakfast is nice but only 3 options but very tasty. We will be back! Thank you!

Peaceful and serene - a true taste of Bali.

The 2 bedroom villas are the best! So spacious with two outdoor bathrooms that were so lovely and clean and a large living area, kitchen and expansive deck overlooking the paddy fields. One of the most charming properties I have ever stayed in, and it is evident that a lot of care has gone into decorating the villas, the landscaped gardens and ponds in the traditional Balinese style. Try to book the two bedroom villas as they have the views of the paddy fields.

The restaurant offers dinner and lunch as well, however there are better food options to be had outside or by ordering take-out.

Quiet location. Large villa and terrace. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

Kids pool not suitable for kids, too deep for 3 and 6 years old. Unhealthy water in the pool, green yellowish, unclear and chlorine smell. We used restaurant and kids pool of a hotel about 200-300 meters away. Because of the little coconuts that frequently fall, in the first day we asked for picking big coconuts above the villa entrance. Along our three days stay nobody did this. Hot water for maximum half bathtub. Basic breakfast. Cleaning of the water closet can be improved.

next to a noisy construction site ! pool was not usable and they didn’t tell us or send us an email to let us know. they said they will fix it the first day we arrive. after 4 days still nothing. Room can be a bit more clean

Exceptional

The cottage is very comfortable, beautiful and has a great view of the rice fields. The staff was very kind and responsive. The menu in the restaurant is simple, but very tasty. The hotel provided us with a car with a driver, so we had the opportunity to explore Bali in the week of our stay. Great trips, unforgettable sunrises at the Batur volcano. And our driver Jaya is extremely nice, experienced and made our trips great. Thanks Jaya

A nice stay!

Liked the location, quiet and out the way. The staff were very good, the included breakfast was also good. I liked the decor of the hotel and the pool area. Overall rated very good as we enjoyed our stay and the bed was super comfy.

The pool did go green by the end of our 4 day stay. The staff said a maintenance man was coming out to add chemicals. The room wasn’t as clean as we would have liked despite being comfortable. Dead ants fell from the ceiling in the night into a pile on the floor and we went that the Villa could have had a deeper clean to bring it up to scratch. Slight musty smell in there.

The pool was filled with green water that no one could use or swim in. Pretty gross. One turtle didn't have a rock to perch on and might perish. He constantly had to swim in the little pond they had for him.

could be cleaner: curtains inside the room and muskitonet shelves as wel we had to do some mindsetting in the beginning, little ants in the bed and gekko’s around the place which you can expect in an area like this.
