The view and lodge were beautiful. Lovely location. Bed and bedding were great. Facilities were good. The night manager was particularly attentive and sorted out a problem with a smile and a great way of doing her job. Real asset to the lodge. Would love to go again if they sorted out the noise problem.
Staff start day shift at 6am. They start vacuuming moving iron chairs on concrete floors. Talking loudly. So if a restful morning is what you are after this spot is not for you. The other guests were particularly loud at night and early mornings. The bathroom could do with a proper deep clean. Monkeys are a real problem. The room only had doors for fresh air and unless you where in the room you could not leave them open. And even then the male monkeys tried to get inside. As a single person I was not comfortable leaving the door open at night for fresh air as the room next door has access to the same balcony. There was an aircon and fan, but if you wanted to hear the ocean you had to have the door open.

Not only did we have a lovely stay, we were upgraded to a superior room! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely, we had the option to choose from the a la carte menu. and the Eggs Benedict was exceptionally good.
