Our stay at Abelonas Village was nothing short of fantastic. We spent four nights here, and from the moment we arrived, the owner and staff made us feel so welcome. They were genuinely kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special.
The location was perfect for exploring the island. Having a car meant we could park with ease every day and use Abelonas Village as the ideal base to discover Santorini, from Ancient Thera and the archaeological sites to the old windmills and everything in between. Despite being so central, the property was incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The apartment was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Just around the corner is the beautiful traditional village of Megalochori, with its charming streets, wonderful restaurants, boutique shops, and authentic atmosphere. We found ourselves wandering there time and time again. (its a must!)
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Peaceful, beautifully maintained, perfectly located, and complemented by exceptional hospitality. If we could give Abelonas Village 6 stars and 11/10, we would without hesitation. Thank you for making our Santorini trip so memorable, we can’t wait to come back!

Abelonas Village is a wonderful place to stay. It is very peaceful, clean, and centrally located, making it easy to explore the entire island. The nearby village is charming and authentic, with a lovely local atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and hospitable. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their warmth made our holiday one of the best we’ve ever had. I would highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful property. Mel was amazing and at our service every moment. The pool was beautiful to relax in and had refreshments on standby.

I cannot recommend this gorgeous place enough! The welcome I received and the service throughout my stay was fabulous. The owners are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I am very sad to leave today but I will definitely return and stay again. My room was lovely with great Aircon and the bed was so comfortable. Megalochori is such a beautiful little village and just a 5 minute walk from Abelonas. Thankyou thankyou thankyou for the best holiday! Santorini has captured my heart ❤️
The only thing I didn't like was having to leave!!
