Great value and staff.

Housekeeper (Paola) was great. AC was cold. Good location. Mattress was comfortable. Good water pressure. Nice lighting around the bed. Due to thunderstorms, the electricity shut down but the generator kicked on immediately, so no worries.

We booked and paid in advance for Thursday - Monday. I will never pay in advance for an entire stay again! Lesson learned. The AC is poorly located. Where the bed is placed, the airflow is poor - hottest part of the room. Additionally, they take your license for the entire stay in exchange for use of the remote that controls the AC unit. We paid extra for the room with a jacuzzi tub. It is located right next to the elevator. The jacuzzi worked one night, then leaked all over the floor. Judging by the tile peeling up and mold in the access area under the tub, this has happened before. The front desk immediately sent Angel up to check it out. He didn't fix it but he did mop the floor and kindly replaced the towels we used to sop up the water literally all over the room. They inferred that the leak underneath the tub was OUR fault. That was upsetting bc we have a jacuzzi tub at home & we are well aware of how they work, etc.. I should have taken photos so you could see the mess, but we were trying to keep water from running everywhere. They offered us a pitiful 30% discount off their breakfast menu. This is also upsetting bc Breakfast was included in our rate! The breakfast included was very sad: tortilla chips smothered in salsa verde, with a tiny bit of refritos/beans and coffee. No protein except for the tablespoon of refritos/beans. I asked for an egg along with it, and was told that I needed to pay extra for it. One egg was $185mxn/$9.25usd! (We have plenty of eggs in Mexico, by the way.) We explained all of this to the front desk person. She assured us the Manager would contact us. He/She never did. No kleenex in the room. Super cheap bathroom tissue. 2 small windows in our room located at the top of the wall, right at the ceiling, so you cannot see outside unless you stand on the jacuzzi platform. Needless to say, our experience was not at all what we paid for. Definitely not at all what we anticipated from the other reviews.

Location was good. Clean hotel. Nice views from the room. big room.

the water of the shower was cold! I did get hot water until the shower was running for 30 min and that was a GREAT waste of water. the next room was smoking and it support to be smoke free hotel. All his smoke was coming to my room. there is no refrigerator in the room.

For a day or two to explore town is good hotel.

The restaurant service was limited. It was a low season.

There was not a single redeeming factor

Location: It was out of the way from town, lots of steps to reach the city. Room: Totally outdated, sparse, there was not a single seating area inside of the room . Closet with not even a hanger . One electrical outlet in the room. TV with few local channels and remote control barely worked. Black out Drapes for windows were raggedy Bathroom: Big counter was the only plus . Shower did not have light and no hot water . Strong sewer odor. Staff : Totally unengaged and apathetic.

Good location, balcony with a view on a gorge, spacious though simple room and a comfy bed, friendly staff, an on-site pool, very good price/quality ratio

the location is good. you can walk to the historic center in about 10 mins. it has a very large balcony.

the room wasn’t very clean (mystery marks on the floor and hairs in the shower when I arrived). the bed was a little hard for a side sleeper. the rooms furniture and decore is dated but fine. the TV in the room was old and I was not given a remote for it so I had to use the buttons on the TV. it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room but there wasn’t one.
