Very good hotel, clean, great location, and great value. The gym could use a little updating and the pictures online make the place look a little nicer than it was, but overall it’s a nice spot!

The hotel is old and smelly. We got a very outdated „double room“ (which were two seperate beds put together, so basically a twin room…) with a balcony which we didn’t use but the room smelled mouldy and it was very muggy idk if it’s because of all the rain Hanoi had and it was very humid? At least the aircondition worked which was good. The shower pressure is almost zero in the whole hotel and our towels smelled like smoke one day? There were lots of American tour groups. We also showered with a cockroach one day … on the positive side: rooftop bar was nice and funky (but double the price compared to Vietnamese standards) The gym was good to have and the breakfast had a freshly made omelet station wich was amazing and staff was nice. Also, was only about 15-20 min walk to old town and a little bit outside the loud bars and shop and restaurant area. However I paid *** Australian dollars for 3 nights, which I know is cheap but compared to other places which are even cheaper and at least better value, as we now moved into an *** for another 3 nights for *** AUD without a mouldy smell and better furniture etc. overall: staff nice and helpful, nice breakfast and maybe location but not worth the money for the old outdated and smelly rooms.
