Really nice room, excellent breakfast...

Esfigueral has a piece of my heart now, I never felt so emotional leaving from a hotel before! My stay was great! The rooms are designed and decorated with love! They are clean and offer everything one can wish for! The staff are the nicest people, originally made to be the best hosts! The breakfast was the highlight everyday! Oh no wait, the dinner at the restaurant was a highlight too! Vegan 100% Tasty 200% Heartwarming 300% 🤍 Cannot recommend it enough, will go back for sure!

Location ° Whilst the Hostal attracts independent travellers, the package holiday resort by the beach bussed in quite a different clientel Hostal ° Restaurant below our room was a little noisy for a light sleeper but my partner didn't notice. Thank you for accommodating our request to change rooms

It's a good enough place which makes you feel a bit more comfortable than a cheap hostel. Cleaning was good and applied on a daily basis and they changed towel every day. Also good AC. Room isolation was good and there's a nice terrace upstairs to relax.

The room is small and lacks basic storage, there isn’t even a wardrobe. Lighting is poor, making the space feel darker and less welcoming. Internet is not great. Breakfast was underwhelming. There is no selection but just have to go with what's on the menu that day. While food was good, coffee/cappuccino were particularly disappointing. Service begins at 9:00 a.m., which is too late if you plan to start your day early and hit the beach before the crowd or explore the island; in practice, you’re forced to skip it. On our final morning, we arrived for breakfast at 9 sharp, along with other guests, but no one was served. While emergencies can happen anytime, the communication was clumsy and unprofessional. We waited about 20 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on or whether we would be served at all. Eventually, a waitress came out and simply said, “I have an urgency I have to leave, sorry” without more explanations or clarifying that breakfast wouldn’t be provided or how guests who had to leave immediately could manage the checkout. Only after guests explicitly asked, “Are we going to be served or not?” were we told we could go to a nearby bar and get refunded. So I did but when I requested the refund later on, there was visible tension and the member seemed unsure how to handle it, until the owner arrived and immediately processed the refund in a very kind and efficient manner, where you can tell the difference from somebody who knows the job and someone who's new to it. I’d recommend not leaving the entire operation to staff who are clearly new to this kind of work; better training properly or oversight would make a big difference. Considering all of this I found it too expensive.
