A nice place with brilliant and helpful staff

The staff are fantastic and cannot fo enough for you. There was a flood whilst we were there and they did everything in their power to fix it.

The pool has quite a lot of algi growing in it. The staff did not seem to address this. Reasons unknown

Amazing staff, so warm, friendly, helpful and happy. The facilities were good too. My bedroom was nice. The location was perfect! Situated on the beach which was perfect.

The bathrooms needed updating. They are extending the hotel so I’m guessing they’ll invest in the older rooms once that is finished. I only used the shower as the bath looked off putting. The rooms would also benefit from having an iron.

Excellent, we would go again.

Everything about the property was excellent. The rooms were clean, the staff very happy and friendly, the breakfasts amazing, the pools clean etc etc. We had a swim up pool which was fabulous, at the same time we also used the pool bar by the restaurant- excellent.

Some of the rooms are a bit tired, however there was a refurbishment programme in place when we were there.

Briza is well sited close to MANY restaurants,bars ..It’s a short walk to The Rosoii bar for delicious,100 bht cocktails)and several Thai restaurants that have very comprehensive selection of dishes. The beach being right on the frontage was not the best for swimming at( very sweepy/dumpy)but great for strolling along … The pools were well maintained and nicely situated that you could move to a “quieter”pool when others were busy. Dada and the breakfast restaurant staff offered a great selection of European and Thai dishes..All of the staff were efficiently friendly and managed the REALLY busy times without hassles..

During rainy season there are no snorkeling or scuba trips in Khao Lak or Similin Islands. This was not clearly stated in activity guides, etc.

Amazing stay with a lovely room equipped with everything we needed

The vast amount of pools were amazing meaning you could easily find a quiet one at all times. Staff were super friendly. Room was immaculate and the balcony had a great view overlooking one of the pools.

Building site pool

Nice beach

The main pool was closed, yet the bar next to it was open even though u couldn't use the pool. Major renovation noise made the beach area unenjoyable. Other pool open is surrounded by apartments with access for ground floor rooms. We were in a first-floor apartment, so we had to fight for one of the 10 free beds in the whole hotel. The pool has no bar, no snacks, no music, and no vibe. Booking.com made no mention of this renovation works on the website. Their own website mentions room works but not the main pool being closed when I checked after checking in. This should be advised prior to check in.

Superb Briza and Khao lak

The hotel is set in a lovely location, right on the beach. The sea breeze is much needed on the really hot days (40'c) and there are several pools to choose from as well. The breakfast caters for all your needs & wants and tastes great! What really makes the Briza is the wonderful and dedicated team, they are like extended family and always make you feel welcomed and looked after. The immediate area around the hotel has plenty of restaurants to choose from and I think we managed to try just about all of them over our 14 day stay. We hired a scooter to get around whilst here, but taxis are available locally, we like a quieter location and booked knowing it was rainy season. This was as expected but did not deter us from having a wonderful time 👏😉😁

Staying at the The Briza was fantastic

The location is perfect. The sea is wonderful to swim in. We had a pool room the best best choice. We did end up booking x2 extra nights all in all with the hotel. The breakfasts were adequate, and the variety of choices was not wide range but adequate enough to give a sufficient breakfast.

The coffee shop. It had the best view. The atmosphere was simply not there, no music playing it felt uncomfortable in the dead quite of this area. The hotel needs to look at this area for ambiance.

What a find

What a lovely find. The beach front location on Khao Lak Beach was superb 👌 The beach was quiet, and the sunsets were fabulous. The hotel is split into two sections on either side of a very quiet road, so check where your room is before you book. Both sides have their own pool but you can use either. The breakfast buffet was really good and the staff were so helpful

Pleasant base location for doing day trips and being treated to spas at night

Located in a laid-back area of Khao Lak with loads of spas and restaurants nearby. It has an incredible beach view, especially during sunsets! Rooms were big and the pool access rooms were great for directly jumping in from your patio. Breakfast had a some good options, but very little fruit options.

Facilities were a lot more aged than the photos online. Had some trouble with housekeeping not making up the room every day even though it is included. Very small closet space makes it impractical for 2 people to unpack their clothes and stay there for longer than 4 days.

The room is spacious with a balcony where you can enjoy the sunset. The location is great as it is right by the beach but still a short walk to a small city center. The food at Maya restaurant is nice. Staff are always ready to support.

Perfect and relaxing but with things at an easy reach. Loved this place.

Our beach front room with garden was just perfect. The hotel staff were so friendly and the location was great. It’s like a small village right on your door step. I could have done with a brush to keep the floor sand free but that’s my only moan. The cleaning staff were fab as all the staff were.

Great value for money resort

Great value for money, good food, right on the beach, good pool, fun for the kids, beautiful sunsets, a small bunch of shops and cab ride to main area of Khao Lak. Ton Pling waterfall close by was great for a swim.

It was cheap, easy to walk to shops and restaurants and it was very quiet. ( except for construction)

The briza was under construction, and construction next door as well. The gym had 1 set of hand weights. Get what you pay for.

First time in Thailand During low season (june-july) Even If less bookings everything is working good. Good breakfast, clean areas (inside hotel), friendly staff.

Location. Bars and restaurants in walking distance and closed to the beach.

Four years ago, I gave 10/10, but I wrote the bathroom needs a reconstruction. Nothing has changed. The shower is mouldy, I wouldn't step in without flip-flops. When we arrived, there were hairs everywhere on the floor and the linen was dirty. I called the reception and they cleaned it. The hotel is outdated, rusty balconies, old pool. The hotel needs reconstruction but nobody cares. It is a pitty, because this hotel has a good potential.

The resort advertised as having a gym. There was no gym for our use. We purposely booked it as we wanted a gym. There was no spa. Staff did not put up enough umbrellas for shade by the pool -Though there seemed to be no shortage of staff. The beach directly in front was fairly clean but walking along meant treading on large amounts of rubbish on the sand. Demoralising, can’t understand why there isn’t a beach clean up in operation

Amazing! So pleased we stayed here!!

The room we had an awesome view of the pool and could also see the beach. The beach is gorgeous. Breakfast had many choices and they would swap items from day to day. WIFI was generally very good, we had one time it kept disconnecting so called reception and it was fixed extremely promptly. Would definitely recommend getting a massage from their onsite person in the hut by the beach! Absolutely worthwhile, relaxing and just bliss. Staff were fantastic - nothing was an issue, always friendly and accommodating. Resort is extremely peaceful, and it a great location. Close to the main street in that area which makes it easy to many restaurants, supermarkets, tour bookings, taxis and other services etc.

Unfortunately the beach wasn't very swimmable based on strong currents. However this is not anything caused by the resort.
