Castellare Di Tonda

Contesto bellissimo, privacy, natura, relax. Una collina tutta del Castellare divisa in "frazioni" e agglomerati di appartamenti. Ha tutto quello che cercavo. Nelle foto ho messo la Spa e la vista dalla fiinestra del mio appartamento.

Avrei dato il punteggio 10 ma ci ho ripensato sul discorso del check in alle 16. Ritengo sia davvero tardi come orario, facendoti perdere molte ore di svago e se volevi arrivare prima, per esempio alle 12, potevi ma pagando 30 euro, lo trovo davvero scorretto. In tutti i viaggi che ho fatto non mi è mai capitato di sentirmi dire che sì puoi arrivare prima ma pagando. Basterebbe dire "No, alle 16 si arriva prima, non possiamo".

Please note that apartment locations are dislocated from reception (our perhaps bit more than 1km, San Carlo & San Tomaso) which might be a problem for some, so be aware. For us, this was a plus. Apartments are distributed over several "villages", some closer, some farther from the reception. Some "villages" are bigger, some smaller, each having a swimming pool and picnic area. This means that none of the "villages" are too crowded and there's a feeling of quietness. Our apartment was on one side shaded by the pine trees so even with heat wave we rarely had to use air-conditioning. The complex includes stable with horse riding lessons available (not too expensive, so definitely recommend it) ... We plan to return.

Double bed had broken twisted bed base, which requires heavier repair or even replacement. As a result, small cross-planks kept falling rendering the right side of the bed unusable. As there was another room with 2 beds (and in the pine tree shadow) it was not a problem for us. But we hope was fixed for the next guests.

La privacy

The landings and the view is incredible. Very beautifull horses. Sadly thats the only thing I liked there.

First of all the resort ir so big that you need to drive to the reception, restaurant or any other activity. Resort is divided in parts. And there you dont get any privacy. But the worst part was apartaments. Very outdated, not clean. Not cosy at all. We changed the first apartament because our bathroom was flooding and the mold was everythere. We got better apartament with big private terrace, but it so unclean that we didnt went were at all. Laudry is also in driving distance cost 5eur/wash, but you need to get your own detergent.. Baby cot is 5eur/day. Our girls was so bitted by some insects, that we needed some medications. So be aware to prepare for that. And cherry on top was so drunk bartender at the bar, that we was affraid he will spil everything on us.. Sadly do not recomend, but we are thankfull for stuff for trying to help.
