Hotel full of charm and history, situated in the centre of Old Belgrade!

Rooms need updating although not to the detriment of its character!

Great value for money.

Wanted to stay in a old hotel and this is one is for the 1920's. It had some retro features. The room and bathroom were large, especially the walk in shower.

The beds were a bit hard. Although the hotel has quite a history it has been renovated and lost some of it's original character.

Helpful staff, their English was great, which I was thankful for considering I know very little Serb. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall a very good value in a good location.

There was no shower curtain so water went all over the floor every time one used the shower. Heat is "house controlled", but it was set at a comfortable level. Door lock had to be locked with the key from the inside.

Value for money. The location is excellent. All sites are at walking distance -10 min. Good breakfast. Helpful and smiling staff. Big and comfortable room. There are rooms for smokers as well. Towels were changed every day. Strongly recommended for exploring old Belgrade.

Needs a bit of renovation. The furniture seemed old and worn out. There was no chocolate cream or any kind of chocolate sweet at breakfast time.

Very bad experience.

Nothing except the location.

It was expensive, however there is no any normal service. The hotel itself smells awful especially bathroom. The pillow was very uncomfortable and l didn’t like breakfast at all.

Stay away from this one pay a little more for something better

The location is very Central close to public transport, Many nearby restaurants in walking distance.

My room had some major issues, Found a cockroach the first time opening the door. the air conditining leaked inside in the room. Electricity went out a couple of times, When complaining to the desk about the electricity going out, they Were very frastrated that the power went out as if they Were the ones staying in a hotel room in 30 c degrees without air conditioning.

Location was fabulous. Staff were good. Bed was clean and comfortable.

It was very tired and in need of investment / refurbishment. There was no hot water and the room stank the whole time (bathroom drains).

Think the Overlook Hotel but it’s haunted by Marshall Tito

The hotel is right in the city centre of Belgrade and is easy to reach via public transportation, bus or on foot. Likewise there are all the famous sights of Belgrade nearby.

The place is completely run down and stuck in the 90s. The rooms are old, the beds uncomfortable. Leaving the windows open at night was impossible because the AC was way too loud. Then we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. First of all the waiters seemed rather annoyed by us disrupting their chat. We were then placed outside on a table in front of the hotel. The waitress who served our table was an apprentice who spoke only lacklustre English and couldn’t explain the dishes on the menu. The food was bad and the potato side dishes were missing. After we had finished we were sitting in front of our empty plates for 20min because our waitress was too busy playing with her phone. All in all I would not recommend this place for anyone travelling to Belgrade.

old fashioned charm in the old town of belgrad!

The hotel exudes a wonderfully old-fashioned charm and lives up to its name. If you don't feel like staying in an anonymous business hotel, this is the place for you. The rooms are dated, but comfortable and clean. It is very quiet. It couldn't be better located, in the middle of the old town, surrounded by nice cafés and restaurants.

Excellent old style Hotel in a great location

Excellent old style socialist hotel in a brilliant location. Definitely on the shabby side, but amazing original fittings and furniture, and indeed plumbing. Wonderful place to soak up the old atmosphere of Belgrade, and right in the heart of the city and a short walk to the park.

A taste of history in the old town

An old fashioned hotel full of magic and history . It is perfectly located in the very vibrant part of the old Belgrade city center . There is patina of bygone era that set this venue apart from the swankier hotels in its vicinity. But that very same patina gives hotel Palace its unique charm. The staff is very friendly and WiFi excellent.

Good location

The hotel location is very central. You can walk to all the main spots. The hotel is clean

Breakfast is not included but can be paid for at the end of your stay. A waiter made me pay to him, which I found strange. The hotel should review that, its look wierd to the guest. At the reception there is an older man who does not know much English and is not friendly.
