It is what it is, not what I wanted.
The staff were really friendly. Clean sheets in room.
The hotel smelt over powering of Chlorine, there were empty beer cans on the roof shelf of the lift and also snot and blood wiped on the side of the lift. The instructions were not clear on room service couldn't pay by card as no card machine, so had to apparently put credit onto the room. The phone in the room was missing buttons so couldn't call down to the desk. Our view was a boarded up pub area is very run down. We were supposed to stay the night but checked out the same evening. Just wasn't what I was expecting I think we will pay the extra money next time and stay somewhere more appeasing.

Very comfortable and relaxing overnight stay and friendly helpful staff.
Very clean, comfortable, spacious room, great view of the Riverside. Didn't get to use the gym , pool, bar or restaurant as one night stay over after the football. Very convenient for the station / Middlesbrough FC. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Just a couple of small things - empty body/wash shampoo container in the bathroom and as always, some small biscuits in the room would have been nice but this is a rarity these days - as is water in the room, but I was able to buy some from reception which isn't often the case (often you're sent to the bar and they give it to you in a pint glass so good they had some on reception...)
