Our room was in an annex a bit further up the hill which was fine. The room was very small, which I expected but it was perfectly clean as was the bathroom. The check in process was easy once we found out that a number of “hotels” checked at the same place. No problem really, people help you out. The location was fantastic, close to the Abbey and restaurants. The window overlooks the street. Hint - pack enough for your stay and leave your big luggage behind as there is no room and you do not want to be carting it around Mont St Michel.
The bed was terrible. It was quite small and the mattress was sunken on one side so you felt you were falling off it.

The room was situated on the 2nd floor and I was not aware that I had to climb stairs with a heavy bag. It would be great to tell the clients what to expect. The breakfast was too simple with very little choice and it is not normal that you cannot get cheddar for breakfast instead of camembert. Who wants to eat camembert at 7 am. Lack of fruits. If you are vegetarian you are totally stuck and highly get something to eat. For the price of the room it is quite shocking the lack of different goodies for breakfast.
The breakfast is too poor.
