Lovely courtyard and old feel to the property - just come from a modern hotel so it was a nice to have the contrast. The conversion from what ever it has been before is really good. We had a family room - two bed rooms with double and two singles in the main room area - small kitchen and 2 bath rooms. We spent time by the pool which has a small bar/shop for ice creams and drinks. Pool itself wasn’t the biggest but was ample for the guests there at the time. We stoped for dinner and breakfast. Food was high end and lovely - wine was good as well. They have a well stocked cellar. Breakfast was also good quality - all cold less choice than we had at other hotels but better quality. All in all an excellent stop on our Italian trip - recommend.
The hotel is next to a road - it wasn’t busy and never heard any traffic even when out by the pool or in the courtyard for dinner.
