Warm, welcoming, accomodating, cute vibes - highly recommend

The staff at Hotel Spagna are so welcoming it was hard to say goodbye. The owner Stephan, Elizabeth, Maria, and Christina - were all so lovely I extended my stay in Arona. Then after checking out I left my bags at the hotel while collecting a hire car. I was back hours later than I’d advised and had no way to communicate. I realised after collecting my things and driving away that Stephan had kindly waited around hours for me to return instead of going home so he could let me back in - but he didn’t even say a word was just friendly and gracious. Thank you so much Stephan - I’m writing this from a tent in the Alps which I couldn’t be doing otherwise. I’m so glad I chose little Arona to stay in and this hotel. It has been my favourite in over a month of travelling from Australia across Europe. Thanks for showing the cheeky Italian spirit; and also letting me have breakfast at 1pm after long sleep ins! I loved the Funeral service outside my bedroom window

I really enjoyed the Church right next to my bedroom window. If you like church bells ringing out, this is the place for you. As an added bonus, a funeral service took place on a Monday right outside my window. It was a great experience.

Pleasant surprise

This stay was definitely better than expected. The hotel is perfectly situated and the price unbeatable. The people working there are not only kind and very professional, but also lovely and warm. The café under their hotel is also nice for little snacks and coffee.

The room was fine and it is exactly what you could expect for the money you pay. The bed was comfy, the water in the shower was warm, so nothing to complain about.

wonderful experience

The breakfast was amazing and the staff so accommodating. The room was warm and cozy and the bathroom very comfortable. Great location and definitely the place i'd return to next time I were to find myself in Lago Maggiore.

Struttura datata e spartana ma in linea col prezzo. Proprietario e personale molto cordiali. Ottima posizione. Colazione "confezionata" ma molto vantaggiosa per il prezzo proposto

Molto conveniente, ottimo per una notte

L’hotel è in un’ottima posizione. Il letto era comodo e la stanza calda. C’erano a disposizione tanti asciugamani e c’erano molte prese per ricaricare. Nel bagno era presente un phone grande e c’erano anche tanti saponi. La colazione era completa.

Non c’era il bidet e l’arredamento di bagno e stanza era datato. La pulizia non era ottima, c’era molta polvere soprattutto in bagno. É comunque un due stelle e il prezzo era davvero conveniente.

Schönes, sauberes, zentral gelegenes Hotel, das den Charme der Arona-Altstadt wiederspiegelt :)

Die Lage ist hervorragend, mitten in der Altstadt, die Bus- Bashaltestellen, der Bahnhof und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer ansperchbar. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt nichts frisch zubereitetes außer Kaffee, sonst nur abgepakte süße Broiche und Crossaints. Man sollte lieber irgendwo im Städtchen lecker frühstücken.

De ligging ten opzichte van het centrum, het meer, het strandje en het treinstation.

Rommet var slitt, og ber preg av å vere gammalt og lite vedlikeholdt.Ikkje vask på badet. Denne var plassert i gangen på rommet. Det lukta dårleg i resepsjonen.

Hotel 2 stelle un po' datato ma grazioso e pulito, vicinissimo alla stazione ferroviaria ed al centro di Arona. Accoglienza familiare e personale gentilissimo. Cena casereccia super !

Ho apprezzato trovare aria condizionata già accesa in camera al mio arrivo in una giornata afosa. Putroppo l'impianto è un po' datato e non rinfrescava molto.

Omaa rauhaa lähellä ravintoloita ja rantaa.

Siisti huone, rauhallinen ympäristö, tarjolla riittävä italialainen aamiainen. Henkilökunta sydämellistä, vaikka oma italian kielen taitoni onkin vähäistä.

Ilmastointia ei ole, joten voi olla kesällä kuuma. mutta ikkunat saa huoneesta hyvin auki.

Früstück super, Lage auch top, zwar nicht mit Seeblick, aber nur ein paar Meter zum See, also für einen einfachen Stadtaufenthalt ideal. Das Zimmer an sich einwandfrei. Nur die Hellhörigkeit ist tatsächlich ein Punkt.

Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. wenn man da empfindlich ist, braucht man unbedingt Oropax! Man hört die Nachbarn und wenn Leute am Gang reden - sprich wenn spät abends noch die Nachbarn heimkommen, wacht man u.U. auf.

Hotel in posizione davvero comoda, un pó vecchiotto se consideriamo gli infissi, la tinteggiatura e gli arredi. La camera era abbastanza pulita, il bagno non pulito con cura purtroppo. La colazione è media. Il personale è molto accogliente e disponibile.
