The location and staff were both great.

Room is pretty sparse, but we had a nice balcony

Good location, clean, comfortable and very nice employees.

We couldn’t really figure out how to change the temperature in our room but it was nice and cool inside on a couple pretty hot days.

Having free bicycles available was amazing and allowed us to go to Bucanos every day, saving a lot on taxis. The location is perfect, close to the center but away from the noise. The room was very clean, large, and spacious, with a balcony offering a partial sea view. The air conditioning worked very well, and the bathroom was spacious with amenities provided. The bed and linens were very comfortable, and there was storage space for clothes, plus two chairs and a table in the room. Breakfast was simple but good, with machine juice, coffee, fruit, cakes, bread, waffles, and freshly made eggs, always served with a smile by the staff. We stayed for 9 days and felt completely at home.

The room had a strong smell of humidity. When we returned home, we had to wash all our clothes and backpacks as everything smelled of damp. As the room was on the top floor, there was a constant noise from the machines on the roof (reception said it was the air conditioning units), which was even louder at night, so I had to sleep with earplugs. There also seemed to be an issue with towel management, as the hand towel or bathroom floor mat was often missing, so we eventually stopped complaining. There was no place to dry clothes, neither inside nor on the balcony, so we had to leave swimsuits and towels on the window ledge, with the risk of them falling into the street.

buffet breakfast was very good in the am. Hotel Location was convenient and within walking distance to most places

Housekeeping only provided us with one bath towel per person with no hand towels or washcloths. We literally had to beg to get an extra towel. Also, front desk asked us to give up our id or passport for a towel to use at the pool. This is completely unacceptable and not a common practice for most hotels that I have traveled to. The pool was very small and could not accommodate more than 5-6 people at one time. The poolside bar was very limited in their alcohol selection and didn't even have XX Equis Amber or Bohemia beer. Very disappointing.
