Smallwood St Park, Groups, Fire Pit, Blackstone, large parking area

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property! The home was exceptionally clean and had plenty of space for our group—it’s actually much larger than the pictures make it appear, which was a pleasant surprise.The house was incredibly comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, ceiling fans in every room, and multiple TVs throughout the home so everyone had a place to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and many thoughtful extras that made preparing meals easy.There were plenty of towels, sheets, and blankets for everyone, and having a washer and dryer available was a huge convenience during our stay.The layout is perfect for larger groups, with two full bathrooms plus a half bath that’s located in a common area but still feels private and convenient. Outside, the large fenced yard is beautifully maintained, giving everyone plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors.The owners have clearly put a great deal of care into the property. Helpful signs throughout the home answered many common questions, and it was reassuring to know they were nearby and eager to make sure guests had a comfortable stay. There was also ample parking for multiple vehicles.The home is a little off the beaten path, which makes it peaceful and quiet. If you’re traveling with a larger family or a group of friends, this is an amazing option.

Excellent place for a family or group of fishermen visiting Smallwood State Park. This property has multiple beds for groups. This property has parking for Bass Boats to remain hooked up. This property is 5 minutes from the boat ramp. Would definitely stay there again!

Great choice for big groups

That's about all we can say about this house. We arrived late after flying in to it being 66 degrees in the house. The thermostat is in a lock box so I had to message the host to request that they turn the temperature up, which I hated to do so late at night, but it was so cold! The host did respond immediately (which was great!) and adjusted it to be set to a range of 70 - 75 degrees, but it never ever got above 70 so we were still quite chilly any time we were there. The other issue we had was with the water - if you've ever wanted to feel like a penny this place is for you! The water smelled like copper and so did you when you got out, even with strongly scented soap. Not sure if that's a normal thing in the area but it definitely wasn't ideal for us. If you have a big group and need a lot of beds, this place is great for that.
