Superb location, wonderful lake view, beautiful old castle-like building, beautiful rooms with large balconies, large swimming pool and well equipped Spa. Excellent restaurant. Very welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful staff.

It’s a beautiful property very well-kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s clean and the beds are super comfortable. Air conditioner works well once you figure out the settings and set it to minimum temperature. Restaurant food ranges from good to great. Breakfast has tons of options, including 6+ types of eggs, pancakes, crepes, cakes, fresh fruit, croissants, yogurts etc. They have some very good wines, with best value-for-money being their charmat white/rosé sparkling wines. Also enjoyed their sheep cheese selection that was served with the wine tasting.

The shower panels were very poorly designed and would flood the bathroom no matter how careful you were. The minibar was turned off despite having soda and other beverages inside. The TV was crooked on the wall, looked like it could fall off. The cappuccino at breakfast was the worst I’ve had in years (made with instant coffee?) — inconsistent with their philosophy of homemade and carefully sourced products. I found the cakes too sweet, but it’s a matter of taste. Once the sun sets, the mosquitos/horseflies will eat you alive despite using bug sprays. Spa access is restricted to 1.5h per stay.

Sehr schlechte Preispolitik: alles zeitlich begrenzt (bei überschreitung kostenpflichtig !!!!!) und dies bei total 4 VIER (!!!!!!) Gästen - kein Restaurant für Abendessen in Betrieb — obwohl in der Ausschreibung als excellent angepriesen. im Park + am Pool keine Sitz-/Liegegelegenheiten ! zusätzliche Wünsche beim Frühstücken kostenpflichtig! Wo bleibt die Gastfreundschaft??????
