Amazing views

View was amazing. Very clean. Really large rooms. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Location was excellent. 2 minute walk from Christmas markets. But not so close you could hear noise.

Bed was a little hard for my liking and it was two twin beds placed together which moved. Walls were thin. We regularly heard our neighbours. Bathroom was slightly dated. No kettle facilities in room.

Amazing hotel facing the lake. Very spacious and bright areas!

Everything is so spacious, from the lobby to the breakfast area, to the room, besides being surprised with a long equipped balcony. It was amazing staying at this hotel.

Loved the details in my room, from the double wooden doors, to the tables and chairs inside and outside the room, but the manually mechanism of shutters is not ideal when it comes to hotel rooms as it can be time consuming to say the least, and I was so happily surprised to see that rooms open with a regular key, but not a fan of the heavy and very bulky keychain, even if I loved its authenticity like in the old days, but it’s not practical, considering every time having to drop it and take it back from the reception to avoid extra weight in our bag

The location was amazing. We stayed in a villa with plenty of space and a lakeside view. We were travelling with our two dogs and it was perfect.

There were no tea/coffee facilities in the villa which was a shame. The tv had very bright lights at night which disturbed our sleep. The phone also had a screen which randomly lit up. The pillows were not very comfortable.

Wonderful stay, everything was perfect.

We liked everything about this hotel. The view, the location, the breakfast variety, the beds, the A/C. Everything was super nice and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was really nice, especially Jorge from front desk who was really helpful and friendly.

The only little thing we noticed was that there was no mirror outside of the bathroom.

Fantastic hotel & staff

Beautiful hotel with fantastic views of the lake. Lovely room & balcony. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. We had a problem with the lights not working & the reception staff got someone out to fix them immediately. They were also brilliant when we lost our parking ticket and rang the parking office to sort it out for us.

We were disappointed the pool wasn’t open as this was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. It would have been nice to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

Absolutely Amazing

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Eden Palace au Lac in the heart of Montreux, Switzerland, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s Belle Époque charm and its breathtaking location right on the shores of Lake Geneva. The view from my room was simply stunning—I could wake up each morning to the serene beauty of the lake framed by the majestic Swiss Alps. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, maintaining that classic European elegance with large windows that opened out to a private balcony. Although some of the furnishings were a bit dated, I found it added to the nostalgic charm of the place rather than detracting from it. Everything was immaculately clean, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping it that way throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the exceptional service and breakfast. The staff were genuinely friendly and eager to help with anything I needed, whether it was arranging local tours or simply providing directions. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the stay feel warm and welcoming.

Location and view from the room, cannot beat the first in line from Geneva lake. The room was very clean.

Even though the hotel states they have parking available on sight turns out they only have 9 parking spots for 100 rooms, we needed to park at the public parking nearby (which was to be fair very close so no huge inconvenience there). When we went to our room we realized it doesn't have a balcony even though we booked a room with a balcony. Instead of apologizing the reception said they are fully booked and cannot do anything about it. I said I would like to have what I booked. After 1 minute of search the reception staff found a room with a balcony right next to the room we were initially assigned.

Fabulous!

We booked the room overlooking the lake, we were on the top Floor room 508 and OMG the views were amazing over the lake with a mountain top back drop beautiful. Worth every penny just for the view, the room was a nice size with balcony table and chairs. The only thing we missed was a coffee making facilities in the room, would of been nice to have that so we could of sat outside on the balcony with a coffee on the mornings enjoying the views and fresh mountain air. I would recommend this hotel with out question if you take the lake view room.

Beautiful balcony but doesn’t make up for the terrible experience

The balcony was a highlight. The building has nice character but is very tired. Beds were so comfortable, but they were really let down by the terrible, lumpy, pillows. Hotel is very clean and the elevators were surprisingly fast.

The staff were all very rude or passive aggressive, it made it difficult to get the things we needed. The air conditioner in our room was absurd - it would turn on but make either such an unpleasant tone or the fan would be so loud you couldn’t speak over it. Other tough parts: - WiFi was unusable - it wouldn’t stay connected for longer than 1-2 minutes the signal was so low - we had no water pressure in our shower, but it was very hot - very loud staff doing room cleaning - by 4pm our room hadn’t been cleaned on the first day despite having the sign out to request it, we had to bargain to get fresh towels since the room wasn’t refreshed - very loud between rooms / above floor walking

What a nice historic property and super nice rooms with very comfy beds. The check in was fast and flawless. Parking was onsite at CHF 18 a day. Right on the lake. you can ask for Lake view but you will pay more. Value for money excellent.
