Modern, air-conditioned room. Pleasant staff.

There were some unswept crumbs on the floor when I came in the room, but it was otherwise very clean and they promised to supervise the cleaning staff more strictly in future.

The room was really spacious, which we loved, with a large door which opened onto a kind of terrace, offering plenty of fresh air. It was great to have a small fridge and microwave as well as we were travelling with some food items.

The room was well set up, with a fridge and microwave, but without any plates / cutlery, which would have been useful for us. We were able to borrow these from downstairs though which was great.

The room was clean and equipment was good and it has an air conditioning that worked very well.

Our dining experience at the restaurant was a massive disappointment for both dinner and breakfast. For the prices they charge, the food quality is exceptionally low. We spent 100€ on dinner and it was an absolute disaster from a culinary standpoint. The ribeye arrived completely unseasoned and tough to chew, while the schnitzel had a strange, rubbery texture. Even the side potatoes were poorly handled; they looked like simple boiled chunks that the kitchen tried to fry but ended up burning instead.The biggest issue was the quality of the ingredients. If you have ever shopped at a Lidl supermarket, you would immediately recognize their budget, bulk-buy items being used as the main ingredients here. It was completely obvious from the chicken in the dinner salad to the morning cold cuts and cheeses that the kitchen is just serving cheap supermarket products.Breakfast was equally frustrating. The hotel explicitly provides advice on when to avoid the rush, so we carefully timed our visit for 9:00 AM. Despite that, almost all the food sections were completely empty or left with meager scraps. The bread rolls tasted like they had been poorly deflated from frozen, and the dessert selection was incredibly sparse. On top of the food issues, communication was very difficult because the staff spoke and understood almost no English. It was a very poor and overpriced experience all around.

Influence of large bus groups on the dining room - difficult to find unused place at breakfast, limited filter coffee, running out of juices. Also meant evening menu on 4 evenings out of 6 were buffets or set meal with no clear pricing. When menu available, food excellent. We felt restaurant staff needed either more training and/or better management.
