Villa Caroline requires serious renovation , new management not recommended

Die Lage ist sehr gut

The hotel rooms are extremely small. The rooms are dated and need serious renovation. The furniture fittings are of the cheapest quality. The bathroom is tiny, shower is cramped, no water pressure . These rooms should never be advertised as a double room, less than 12m2 . The room and hallways are fitted with carpet, filled with sand. No fridge to cool drinks, the coffee & tea in the room were never refilled in 5 days. The breakfast buffet only worked when Richard was on duty. Staff are grumpy and stressed, can’t coup with two questions in perfect French . The management needs to be completely changed. The hotel is living off the elderly customers who know no different . The reception is your 1st impression, white see though blouse with black bra . Breakfast staff that lack training and are unfriendly.

The room was clean everyday by the chambermaid ,the location of the hotel was superb,no far from everything,and what about the view can asking for more, lovely sea a a bit fresh to swing but is only May next time i will try in july.

May be the thing you could improve on more choice on tv channel may be Canal+

We booked sea view room in main building, which is more expensive than rooms in separate building, but when we arrived, we realized that room is tiny (really no space at all for 2 people) and no balcony. So you have just bed inside the room and that's it. Plus extremely small bathroom. We were with friends who booked more cheaper rooms in separate building, and we realized that they are much better - bigger, with balconies and a lot of light inside. Lady on reception kindly agreed to reallocate us, despite the fact that hotel was fully booked. It was highly appreciated from our side!

after some initial hiccups we really enjoyed our stay in a bright and clean room.

the location on the beautiful beach was stupendous. we enjoyed having drinks on the terrace each evening. our room had a small balcony as well. there is no air conditioning so the window was good to have.

the booking indicated that the assigned room was non smoking. however, the room was really tiny with a heavy odor of cigarette smoke. I have asthma and reported this to the concierge. she solved the problem and got us a different room, immediately.

the location of the hotel, directly on the large beach separated only by the promenade for pedestrians. very calm at night and during the day. the room was comfortable, not very spacious, with a small balcony overlooking the sea. great for a relaxing holiday.

the breakfast buffet did not always have seasonal fruit and the coffee was sometimes not good

Very sparse decorated room. You have to stand up to be able to look out of window ( I did not expect that when paying for a room at the sea side - no mentioning of that). No tea/coffee facilities in room.

I booked this as my camping holiday literally fell apart. From the pictures to arrival it was amazing. Beautiful building and very well appointed rooms. Lovely shower and amazing sea view.

Only missed out on a kettle in the room to make your own coffee/tea but I realise this is a British thing and nothing against the Hotel.

L’emplacement est idéal. Le personnel est bienveillant et au petit soin. Le lit est confortable et l’endroit est calme.

J’ai eu un peu froid car les fenêtres laissent passer le vent (mais il était très fort cette nuit là). Le petit déjeuner n’est pas très bien organisé. Le sucré, le salé mélangés, les crêpes d’un côté les confitures à l’autre bout des tables… compliqué lorsque l’on est pas bien réveillé 😉
