The staff. Most of the people looked angry and didnt even answer when you salute them. Some of them helped me with my bags but most of the people at the reception were kind of angry.

Great location on a main thoroughfare, walking distance to many major attractions. Strong, friendly, and attentive staff. Executive lounge was very nice. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. This is a very nice property.

I did send laundry out to be done. I sent it out one morning before 7:00 am. The next evening at 9:10 pm (which was the night before I was to leave) I had to go on a search and rescue mission to find my laundry. After speaking with four different employees (who were all attempting to help - though initially to no avail - my laundry was finally located. We had been told twice that the laundry did not have it. Although it was ultimately delivered to my room very late on my last night, I invested far more time in that than I wanted to. And I suspect if I hadn’t raised the issue and continued to follow up I would never have seen my clothes again. Otherwise this was a great stay (and we will return if possible on our next visit to Santo Domingo). But the laundry service needs attention.

Building was hot throughout. Hallways were not cool at all
