Rustic farm stay! Great view

Lovely quiet farm stay!

As it was December/January the logs didn’t last long in the fire so was very cold, however the hot water bottles provided worked a treat.

Convenient but grubby

Fantastic location for walking the Cleveland Way. The Honesty shop was very useful. The bedding was fresh and clean.

The level of housekeeping was very poor. There was mildew in the shower. The kitchen utensils hanging on the wall felt greasy and sticky.

No working toilet - when mentioned I was told you just have to flush harder - but don’t know how much harder I could considering the handle swung almost all the way round … also mould near door through damp.

Quite, peaceful and friendly. Just how I like it

It was peaceful and had such a lovely history. Everything you could want for a stay. Owner (lady) told us the history of the room and the farm and booked us in for a lovely dinner at 'The Owl' so kindly.

Could have done with a simply battery light over the cooker.

Amazing place, lovely people and beautiful location.

We had an amazing experience from the arrival. Ginny welcomed us as we pulled up and we immediately felt at home. The place is stunning with amazing views to match. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with our own bathroom, kitchen and log burning stove. We had the most wonderful stay.

Amazing place, views, location and fabulous staff

What a wonderful place High Paradise Farm is. We loved that it was a working farm and the whole place is so quirky. The rooms were great and had everything you need for a great stay. They had thought of everything. The honesty shop is an excellent idea too. We loved the hot tub too. Stunning views and a very relaxed atmosphere. Can’t fault it.

Wish the cafe had been open while we were there.

Hidden gem, it really is ✨️

Absolutely fantastic, but don't tell anyone! So peaceful but with animal sounds e.g. dogs, sheep, geese etc. Great that there was a shop on site with all we needed for dinner, saving us getting back in the car after a long drive to the local pub.

Spluttering Shower and BLACK MOULD!

Gorgeous views, and lovely animals wandering around. The hot tub was welcome after a long day.

The place was dirty and had BLACK MOULD!!! The shower was useless and spluttered. The oven didn't work well and took ages to cook anything. Didn't see the owner until the second to last day, and then they were in a rush.

Great location for our trip, slightly underwhelming stay.

We booked this self contained accommodation for the first day of our Cleveland Way walk as it sits just off the footpath, the combined bedroom/kitchen had all the facilities that we required.

The check -in process was not the best due to a mix up with our booking, we can fully appreciate that mistakes are made but the response from our host left us feeling a little undervalued as guests to say the least. Facilities in the room were adequate although overall we thought this accommodation was quite expensive in comparison to other stays on our trip.

The most stunning scenery, beautiful balance of rustic and charming farm buildings with the most beautiful aesthetic decor with everything needed practical wise for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Staff were simply wonderful, couldn’t have been more helpful.

Loved it! A little gem! Had a lovely stay in the Stable Cottage with hot tub, the cottage was cosy with all the facilities you need catered for. Beautiful location with amazing views. Very nice on site tea room, tasty breakfast bun and helpful friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

The farm is absolutely lovely and a perfect spot for walks in the beautiful countryside. The room was nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and we loved the overall experience. The owners are super friendly and helpful and we can't wait to go back!

The room was filthy hadn't been cleaned for months fly infested and the hot water needed a regulator on it as it was so hot you wud suffer from 3rd degree burns so unusable

Excellent place but rooms are noisy from your neighbours.

Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Middle courtyard very useable resource. Staff very friendly and helpful. I like the fact that they are very eco-aware. Right on the edge of the moor. Room nicely decorated and cleverly arranged.

The rooms are not soundproofed and I could hear next door on both sides talking. Bathroom fans and walking about from next door very intrusive.

An excellent place for some requirements

A wonderful situation with amazing views. Clearly a brilliant place for walkers and bikers. The courtyard area is very pleasant and a good initiative. There are good cooking facilities.

Despite claims by the proprietor on the spot, the double bedroom with bathroom does not state that the bathroom is accessed by a steep staircase, unguarded on one side. Fortunately, another, safer, room was available and we not charged extra for this. The property description should mentioon the well potholed access road, which could be very difficult for some vehicles and in some weather conditions.
