Bwaver Cottage

The accommodation was lovely, clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the island. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was exactly what we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Das Bwaver Cottage ist eine eher einfache Unterkunft, aber für unseren Aufenthalt auf La Digue absolut passend. Das Schlafzimmer ist schlicht eingerichtet, dafür war das Bett sehr bequem. Ein Kühlschrank ist vorhanden, der Schrank könnte aus unserer Sicht etwas praktischer gestaltet sein. Das Badezimmer war gut und hatte eine schöne, kräftige Dusche. Das Frühstück kann optional dazugebucht werden und wird mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Wer lieber selbst kocht, hat ebenfalls diese Möglichkeit. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Lindy die äusserst sympathisch, freundlich und hilfsbereit war und uns bei allem gerne weitergeholfen hat. Die Fahrräder, die man vor Ort mieten kann, waren ebenfalls in einem sehr guten Zustand. Ein kleines zusätzliches Highlight wären noch Lichter an den Fahrrädern gewesen. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Bwaver Cottage für einen Aufenthalt auf La Digue weiterempfehlen.

Wonderful breakfast and nice premises.

The payment process wasn't very clear from the start of the booking. I had to pay a certain % of the booking to an account in France before coming (totally legit by the way). At checkout, when we had to pay, the remaining amount for the room could be paid by card but all the extras (bike, transfer, late check-out) had to be paid cash. This caught us by surprise and we weren't ready for this. Also there was no shower gel and shampoo in the room.
