Had a really great stay at Chez Bore. I stayed in the dorm and honestly the atmosphere was something special. The staff were very warm and welcoming — at the end they even offered me tea for free, which was such a nice gesture. In the evenings there was beautiful live music almost every night, creating a very relaxed and authentic Istanbul vibe. What impressed me most was how quiet and peaceful the place was despite the central location. You can walk down to the Bosphorus very quickly, which makes the location perfect for exploring the city on foot and by ferry. I’ve traveled quite a lot around the world already, and I can genuinely say this place has a unique charm. It feels cozy, artistic and very human — not like a standard hotel/hostel at all. Would definitely stay again.

The property is well situated : it’s a nice neighbourhood not far from the old town with the tramway The staff is nice

The room add not been cleaned, there where some trash left from the previous occupants The fridge was really dirty and broken - some people came to fixe it while I was still in the room in the morning… The shower was complicated to use and the first thing the roommate told me is that they got stolen their stuff
