The lake view from the lounge room & front bedroom was spectacular. As we entered the cold afternoon, we were greeted with a warm unit and was very inviting. Our rooms were spacious enough to store and dry our wet snow gear. We like the convenience of self check-in and that we had 2 car spots reserved for us. There was no noise even though we were surrounded by many other units.

There was no pantry because of the hot water system, but that didn't bother us.

The location is great and the apartment had all the basics but it was much smaller than the photos showed, especially the bathrooms. The bedrooms were well sized and had good wardrobes for storage of clothes etc. Each room had a TV which we didn't use but if that's your thing you'll be happy. We were skiing all day long!

The heating automatically switches off, while I do get this from an energy saving perspective, it's a bit uncool to wake up to a cold apartment and have to turn the heating back on, wait for it to kick in. And the hot water system's arrangements meant we could only have 4 minute showers or thereabouts. The water system in the showers was super old school, like in the 70's with two taps that either burnt you or was freezing cold, but not a deal breaker. What was the most annoying was that for 8 people who were skiing all day and wanted a big egg breakie there was one measly fry pan that wasn't nonstick that would only cook 4 eggs at best. We had to go and buy a big nonstick one from Woolies just so we could get through breakfast efficiently. So BYO frypan or the owners could buy a proper one.There is also no storage space for groceries, they put the hot water system in what would have been a pantry at one time. So if you're like us and plan to eat in and cook up big meals you will have to store food in your bedrooms. But for the price of the place the beds were comfortable and the basic needs were met so I would recommend it to others but we all felt it would be best to pay a bit more for some extra space and comforts.

Unit was extremely warm and there were no fans or cooling method. Windows were locked to limit opening so couldn't get a breeze through to cool off. Would be nice in winter but would hate to stay there over summer. No flyscreens in front bedroom let all the bugs in at night. Could not use our second car space as there was a car in there and the managing real estate didn't respond to an email asking for it to be moved.
