The location is excellent, 5 mins from the old town, 10 from the beachfront. Very quiet. No threat of violence. No drunks falling about. Restaurants and bars close by are very good value and friendly (10 euros for a pizza, 4 euros for a half litre of lager, 3.60 for 2 dcl of nice dry local white wine -June 2026). The apartment itself is very nice, it is on the small side and I would say it would suit a couple with (or without) a small child, using only the double bed. The terrace is lovely and great to just sit , drink and and chat at. Tina was easy to contact, friendly and speaks good English.

There is no sound insulation between the bedroom and living room and no door. So if you have eg., a heavy snorer in the bedroom, it is like they are sat next to you. Also, parking was advertised as free but is now paid (new council law). Also, be aware there is a 3.10 daily tourist tax per person. Finally, my advice is do not attempt to drive your car close to the apartment, just park and carry your bags, it is 5 mins.

The Terrace! The location (right in the heart of the old town - convenient for everything). The apartment is compact and had everything we needed for our stay (there’s a washing machine, dishwasher and your essentials (towels, washing up liquid) - plus there was a fabulous bottle of local white wine chilled in the fridge for us 👌🏼

Das Appartement ist sehr gut ausgestattet, eher klein von der Grundfläche, aber alles neu, hübsch und sehr geschmackvoll. Ruhige Lage. Die Ausstattung ist phänomenal, alle Küchenutensilien, sehr gutes Internet, moderne Lautsprecher, sogar Netflix (von uns nicht verwendet). Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Tina, die nicht dort wohnt, ist schnell und unproblematisch, auch per Whatsapp. Tina ist hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Besonders angenehm ist die Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen, mit Zitronenbaum, Olivenbäumchen etc. Auch eine Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner ist vorhanden. Die elektrieschen Küchengeräte sind neu und sauber. Zur Begrüßung war ein Sekt im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung liegt im Zentrum der Altstadt, alles ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar, auch der Strand. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es war etwas schwierig das Haus zu finden, aber Tina hat per Telefon unterstützt und die Nachbarin hat uns dann gefunden.
